The house is beautiful and great for older kids. We do have younger kids and my 2 year old could fit through the banister rails so we had to worry about that and go buy baby gates to keep him safe from the banister. When we arrived the dishwasher was leaking and the pool was not cleaned. I sent a message and they said pool cleaning was the following day and they would call someone out to fix dishwasher the following day. No one ever came to fix the dishwasher but they did clean the pool the next day. We did lose a day of use because it wasn’t ready when we checked in. The pool would also be better for adults rather than children. The boarder is only about 2 feet wide so it’s hard for young kids to stay on. The location is also a little misleading if you aren’t from the area. On the listing it says you can walk to a public beach access. This is incorrect. You can walk down the road and walk through overgrown grass in someone’s yard to stand behind giant rocks and see the water. There is not an actual beach with sand or actual access at that location. To be able to park you have to drive 7 minutes which is fine but we would have liked to know that before hand. Over all the house was clean on the inside and would have been better if my kids were older so just be aware if you have small children and want to actually be able to walk to an actual beach access.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the dishwasher and pool; we aim to address any issues quickly and will review our processes to improve our response times. Regarding the beach access, we want to clarify that the property does have direct access to the beach just down the street. During high tide, the beach can be less accessible, but at low tide, it's easy to walk down the steps and reach the sand directly. We will update the listing to better reflect this so future guests are aware of the tide changing. We also appreciate your safety concerns for small children and will consider additional safety tips or warnings.
