Beautiful house with a stunning view!! There is a place down the road that you can park and launch kayaks or tubes. Although we had a wonderful weekend, the jets in the jacuzzi bathtub didnt work and it doesnt have the terrace/patio with the fire place that is shown in the last picture (which is the main reason we chose this house).
The property is wonderful. Gorgeous views, well stocked and comfortable. The only issues were there was no WiFi, no cable, and barely any phone service. Also, the house needed a thorough cleaning. However, the homeowner was gracious and generous in accommodating our need for WiFi. And Venus, the dog gave lots of love and affection. Will definitely plan to go again

With respect, the house was thoroughly cleaned by our regular two cleaning women the day before the arrival. and we have NEVER had a complaint about the house not being clean. Very perplexed by this comment?
This property is very remote but there is a small town about 10 minutes away. Host is very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was no wi-fi internet, no cell service and no land-line. So we were completely cut off from the outside world and we survived! Host was very apologetic about wi-fi that was cut out by Hurricane Helene and has not been able to be fixed, yet. Only cellular service that works in the area is US Cellular. T-Mobile has a weak signal. Verizon and Spectrum have no service at all. Host told us about that in advance. Land-line phone service was a surprise to her but it was impossible to get anyone out to fix on a Holiday weekend (Thanksgiving). The house is very comfortable. Four bedrooms with lots of room. Great room and well-stocked kitchen with a wood stove is very nice for family gatherings. Lots of DVD movies to watch. Very well furnished. Large deck outside overlooking the river -- beautiful! It was actually nice not having all the distractions of cell phones and internet!
