Cozy Property on the Outskirts of Town

We stayed here with another couple for a baseball tournament as it was close to one of the fields. It was a quick 20 minute drive to most tourist destinations but was nice to stay away from the busy city. The house was cozy and clean. Beds were comfy and the fridge even makes those fancy round ice cubes! Definitely check it out if you are looking for a place near KC to stay.

We arrived and found 1/2 eaten granola bar in the freezer along with stains of drips of something.one bed was missing sheets.one bed had two long black hairs on the bottom sheet.sofa was white and has large dark stains on it.fire pit full of scraps and twigs and leaves from the yard and no chairs or stools for seatingtried to reach the host about 10:30pm on day of arrival and found the missing sheetsI called and text asking where we can find sheets with no response...until 9am the next day. Then I was informed that I was calling after hours and they don't take calls or texts at that time.the host was argumentative and didn't seem interested in trying to make anything right. one last thing there are no blinds on the bedroom windows only extremely sheer curtains that one can see straight into the bedroom through. I put a small throw over one window next to the sidewalk.the quality of the home was not reflected in the price. super expensive and would not stay again. I have short term rentals myself and I know what is right and what is not. I have photos of most of these things as well.the fire pit not a big deal but then don't advertise it as though its ready to use. I don't know how they got the other 5 star ratings.

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful stay and this sweet little hideaway was just amazing. Great location! Savannah went above and beyond to communicate, welcome us, and meet our needs. She was lovely! 🙏 We were in town to celebrate our daughter’s wedding so we were busy with activities and wedding prep. The home was clean, cute and comfortable. After busy days it was fantastic to have comfortable beds and accommodations to rest and recharge. The location was perfect for a wedding in Parkville, Mo and the easy access to our venue was such a relief. I would highly recommend this home and this hostess. My family would definitely book this home again! Thank you for everything!
