This property was very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows, and comforters provided the right amount of warmth. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance that we needed for cooking as well as dishes and silverware. The TV room downstairs was very comfortable and we enjoyed a "movie night" on the large couch. We brought our two chihuahuas along and they thoroughly enjoyed running around in the back yard and in the house. The available dog treats were a special addition. The house was very clean and the host was available if needed. Would highly recommend the property ! Quiet cute neighborhood close to the dunes.

This home, not only decorated nostalgically, it is appointed that way. We felt like we stepped back in time for a week. We spent our days exploring the dunes and shoreline. Our family had everything we needed, and even more, with an age range of 1 to 84 years, including our furry friends. Our fur babies were well taken care of with toys and cozy beds. They absolutely loved the fenced yard! We enjoyed quiet mornings on the deck, sipping coffee, playing board games, watching VHS tapes, and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The hosts were attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend!!!

Long weekend trip with our 5 year old grandson and our lab to explore Dunes National Park. Location was close to the lake and park trails. The house had everything we needed and then some! The best dog friendly home we have ever stayed in! The host had lots of treats, toys and dog beds. Our grandson loved all of the games. Beds were very comfortable. Backyard was great for the dog too. Everything was spotless. Very nice MCM home!

Miller Beach Weekend

First and foremost my family enjoyed themselves. The grand kids had a blast with board games (no cell phones) and bumper pool. No one slept, my daughters enjoyed the location and backyard deck. Nice big clean kitchen for family breakfast. Great place for family gatherings, located near Miller Beach. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to freeways and restaurants. Host was available for all of our needs including access to streaming services. Highly recommended!!!

The living is easy

Two families came together with 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. We were shocked at how spacious the house is and how many thoughtful extras it contained. To begin with, there was more than enough comfortable space for all of the people and dogs in our group. We had ample space to spend time together indoor and outdoor. The dogs were welcomed with SO many toys, dog bowls, and a massive fenced in yard. There was no worry about running out of any soaps, paper towels, or anything of that sort. We walked to 2 beaches and had coolers, chairs, wagon...all available to use. The stay could not have been more comfortable and easy. I highly recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks for an amazing time!

The host was very responsive and helpful! The house had 2 floors, and only the bottom level (basement) had a TV to share for all guests. Unfortunately, the bottom level was cold, and we didn't find any space heaters. It would have been great if there was a TV in the common room upstairs where it was warmer and gave access for any guests who are handicapped (unable to go downstairs). We also didn't use the shower downstairs because it was too cold. The bedrooms would have been nicer if there were black out curtains. Most curtains were sheer, so it wasn't very private, especially in the common room upstairs. Lastly, the washer needed major cleaning. My family relied on using the washer/dryer for clean clothes, but we found mold in the washer drum until after we used it. We had 6 guests, and 4 of us got skin rashes after wearing the washed clothes. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, and we stayed warm wearing layers since we were limited to 75 house temperature. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and eat our meals.

Hi Sheila, we're so sorry your visit was less than satisfactory. Our cleaning crew did not notice mold in the washer, but we had our handyman come over right away to take the washer apart and he cleaned everything with bleach. As for the heat, there were multiple space heaters in the bedroom closets that are portable and can be taken down to the basement. We don't have any temperature limits set on our thermostat so you could have gone higher than 75. We do have it set so it keeps temps above 70, but that's about it.

We stayed here for a long weekend for our daughter's birthday. The house was great! There was enough room for all 7 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed as we brought most of our food and cooked there. We gathered around the big dining room table multiple times a day and ended up in the basement to play games to wrap up the nights. The TV had multiple streaming options available, Netflix, Prime, etc. The beach was a quick 5 minute drive so we went there almost every day, even for just a few minutes. The host reached out about a week before the stay and then the morning of they had some internet issues, which he let us know about and would keep us informed. Luckily, they were resolved before we even arrived but it was nice to receive that communication. We did not bring our dog, but the house is super pet friendly: fully fenced in backyard with doggie bags, dog beds on both floors, tons of toys and some treats in the kitchen. We would definitely stay at this house again if we come back to the area, and maybe bring our dog with us as well!

We had VRBO cancel this guest's stay because he violated multiple house rules including 15 guests and partying until 4am. He also had more than 8 guests stay the night when he said in his reservation that it'd only be two guests. Even after all this we still gave him a partial refund.
