Worst vacation rental experience we’ve ever had.

With what appeared to be a new property, we expected some adjustments, but not quite this many. In order of problem level: 1. The apt lock would not lock or unlock properly. In addition, the door is mounted terribly and leaves many open holes between door frame and door. We raised this issue with the host, who tried to fix it… it worked for one night and never after. The apartment feels secure overall, so we didn’t make it an issue, but we would not recommend renting this property until the door is fixed, likely replaced. 2. Utensils were limited, plastic, and either dirty or still in their package. There were no spatulas or anything to stir with. 3. General cleanliness of the apartment was not great. 4. Location is fairly terrible. Far from everything, and getting a cab was a drawn out process every time. 5. No wine glasses. Glasses were all dirty on arrival. No wine opener. 6. Wifi appears to be building-wide and sucks during high usage hours, especially in the evening. 7. Host was initially very responsive but did not follow up on most concerns after initial responses.
