One block away from the center of town yet still peaceful & quiet, we are within a short walking distance to over ten restaurants, Madison Park, a grocery store and our famous tree lined Maine Street, a must see while visiting beautiful Quincy. The Quincy Cottage is perfect for families, traveling professionals & just about everyone who wishes to relax & unwind.

    The Quincy Cottage was perfect for our needs. The kids enjoyed the game room and board games as well as the sunroom area. The hosts were very attentive and prompt with communication. Would definitely stay there again.

    The Quincy Cottage is a charming & lovely place to stay. It is comfortable, well stocked with essentials and has everything you may need for your time there. It is beautifully decorated and the hosts go beyond to insure your stay is perfect. I would highly recommend Quincy Cottage and will plan a return visit in the future.

    Perfect Place!

    We have stayed here a number of times. We would not stay anywhere else when we visit Quincy! Accommodations are perfect - clean and very up to date. Love the full kitchen and Keurig. Host communicates quickly with me when needed. I wouldn't change a thing. Can't wait to come back!

    The hosts have thought of every detail to make your stay perfect. The home has updated appliances, modern furniture and lovely architectural detail. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The A/C was very effective during a heatwave. We plan to stay at this property on our next trip.

    Wonderful stay! This is one of the best VRBO experiences we've had (and we've had many). Place was better than described - clean, comfortable, with nice extras to make the stay great (laundry detergent pods, comfortable towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc.). Owners were very responsive and very thoughtful, with a little housewarming gift waiting upon arrival. Can't say enough good things about this place - we loved it! We will definitely book this VRBO again next year!

    We had a fantastic 13 nights in this property. Great location within walking distance to shops & restaurants. Superb host who responds promptly even when I originally enquired from the UK with a 6 hour time difference.

    Cottage was perfect place for us to stay as we moved our son into college. Communication with hosts-excellent. Cleanliness-excellent. Location-excellent. Neighborhood was quiet & we felt safe. Home decorated nicely, plenty of towels, kitchen seemed well furnished, although we didn’t cook while we were there. Upstairs 1/2 bath is very small, but believe they did best they could with the design of this older home. Beds are very firm. Appreciated the laundry facilities in basement—clean & washer/dryer worked well. Would stay here again when back in Quincy.

    We came to visit Nauvoo and your home was the nearest available for our dates. We basically slept and left. It is a super charming and very clean. Sharing the shower was a little tricky but doable. Thanks so much for sharing your home. Check in was super easy, instructions were nice to have on the table and the kitchen was great. We didnt' use it except for refridgerating drinks.

    This was our 3rd time staying at the Quincy cottage. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Beth has thought of everything to make our stay feel like home! Her personal touches and attention to our individual needs has exceeded our expectations every time. She is readily available if we were to need anything.

    Home Away from Home

    I can’t even begin to tell you how great our stay was. Beth really goes above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. She even added a personal note and gift for my son because she knew he was in Quincy to compete in the junior nationals for pool. My favorite thing is the little sunroom/office with the view of the neighbor’s cat, which is the perfect place to read a book. My son’s favorite thing is the ping pong table where my family (of amateurs) has spent hours playing on and it’s always so much fun! We love this little cottage and look forward to our stay year after year! (Pictured is the view of the neighbor’s porch & cat) :)

    Our stay at Quincy Cottage was so nice. The home was just perfect for our stay. The hosts were very thoughtful and went over and above to make sure we were taken care of.     Cutest Cottage Ever!

    We had an amazing stay at the Quincy Cottage! The house was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. The cottage is outfitted with everything you can imagine while away. This is my all time favorite rental and the hosts are so thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay!

    Love this place!

    This is the third time we have stayed here and will continue to stay here whenever I come to Quincy! The house is beautiful and the rooms and layout are perfect for our needs. Full kitchen which we utilized. The communication with the owners is wonderful. The location is perfect because it is just a few minutes away from our relatives and it is near all of Quincy. I highly remind The Quincy Cottage!💗

    Adorable Place to Escape with Friends!

    My husband and I stayed here with 2 other couples while we were in town for a Quincy U Lady Hawks basketball game. Not only was it clean, convenient, and as advertised - the hosts added personal touches to the welcome packet. They were also very responsive to messages. There are a couple of great places to hang out in and outside the house, it is close to campus, and the neighborhood is well lit and safe. We did not bring kids, but the play kitchen showcased it is kid friends as well. Our friends from Quincy will be recommending this house to other guests who come to visit, and we will stay again on our next trip!

    This nicely decorated home is centrally located and walking distance to the historic homes in Quincy. The house was clean and there were many little extras (lint roller, iron, Keurig coffee, fire pit out back). Check in process and communication was great!

    A lovely respite!

    We were visiting Quincy for a family emergency, so the circumstances were very difficult. The Quincy Cottage was a lovely respite from the difficult things we had to face. The home is very clean, well-appointed, and so comfortable. The office space was a great place to work. The owners were lovely people, easy to reach, and very attentive to our needs. Our kids loved the game room downstairs! We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

    The layout of the Quincy Cottage is very unique. The view from the street makes the home seem quite small, however, the size actual of the cottage surprises all of our guests. It feels cozy & friendly.
