Anne's - Comfortable and quiet - 32 miles to Acadia
Anne's Secret Garden is a charming, comfortable house located four miles from Blue Hill Village and 32 miles from Acadia National Park. The house includes two bedrooms with a queen and two twins, two full bathrooms (tub/shower combos), a large living and dining area with granite fireplace, and well-equipped kitchen. The back lawn is peaceful and private. While not on the water, it is just four miles to the Blue Hill Town Park with a wonderful children's play area and swimming beach, an excellent grocery store, pharmacy, health food store, library, and hospital. Enjoy climbing Blue Hill Mountain and hiking on a variety of well-maintained trails, try out the many delicious options for dining or take out, and peruse the unique shops and galleries highlighting local craftspeople and artists. Guests have fun exploring the Blue Hill Peninsula, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park, or find the house with all of the books a peaceful way to spend part of their time. Please ask if you would like to bring your dog. Rents monthly from October to May.

We had a great stay at this house! We liked being out in the woods, but a short drive from Blue Hill. The house is quirky but delightful and very spacious. It had everything that we needed for a very relaxing vacation in our favorite place!
