Home that makes you feel like you are on an Island at the "End of the World"

32 Sandpiper is an oceanfront three bedroom home that makes you feel like you are on an Island at the "End of the World". Set privately at the end of an oceanfront cul de sac, this home features stunning sunsets over the less crowded South and West beaches. Ships can be seen in the distance going to and from the shipping channel to Wilmington. Beach access is directly across from the private driveway to 32 Sandpiper Trail. This home may have the very best sunsets on the Island, you might just see the green flash!

Inside you will find a fully renovated and updated interior with a reverse floor plan, upstairs you will find a large open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The living room opens onto a covered veranda with Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs to soak in the gorgeous ocean views. The kitchen features upgraded stainless appliances, quartz counter tops. Two light houses can be seen! The kids bunk room is also upstairs and sleeps 3.

Downstairs, you will find two master bedrooms. One with a King, an d the other with two Queen beds. Both bedrooms open onto a first floor covered porch with great views.

Sleeps 9. Two golf carts are included. A BHI Club Lifestyle membership is available but not included. A Shoals Club is also available but not included.

Bikes are not serviced or maintained by BHIR, therefore if they are not satisfactory we recommend renting bikes and umbrellas from Riverside Adventure Company or Coastal Urge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home had the most gorgeous view of the ocean. The house was not very clean when we moved in, sand and food on the floors from previous tenants. Quilt on bed was dirty and needed to be washed. Only the bottom half of the freezer worked, and water and ice maker didn’t work. Needed a few more things to make a weeks stay more comfortable like another nightstand in master, more towels (gave us 1 pp), rugs all over need replacing or just thrown away. The house was in a great location and maybe one of the best views available in BHI. Management was amazing, receptive and came quickly. Property manager Aubrey and realtor Rod were super friendly and professional. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and outdoor shower was great. Air conditioner must have been newer bc it stayed nice and cold the entire week with no issues and had some of the hottest days. I would recommend hoping these easy things were addressed! Very peaceful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience. Love the house and location. Multiple years we’ve been coming to 32 Sandpiper. As a family we prepare and eat all of our meals in the rental. As such, we would love to see more cooking accessories available for use. Such as, better sauté pans(current ones have lost their non-stick) with at least one large cooktop sauté pan, more cooking sheets, more baking casserole dishes/options.We also utilize the outdoor shower every day by multiple people. The shower head was replaced with what appeared to be an antiquated shower head that was not adjustable in any way. It was not ideal.Beach chairs: old. Some definitely need replacing
