This bright, well-appointed cabin is the perfect retreat for an individual or couple any season of the year. Recently remodeled without losing any of its charm, the cabin boasts beautiful views from every room. Snuggle up by the fire in winter and watch the snow fall outside the large living room windows. In the summer months, enjoy coffee on the deck and morning walks along the river. Hiking trailheads are right out the front door. If your plan is to partake in world-class whitewater rafting on the White Salmon, Cabin 19 is just a short walk from the pullout. For guests looking to recharge through quieter affairs: a crackling fire and clawfoot tub may be all you need. This special retreat feels remote despite its convenience to everything: White Salmon, Hood River, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, wineries horseback riding, rafting, hiking, kayaking, fishing, windsurfing. biking, berry picking (summer), snow sports/play (winter.)

Everything we wanted

This cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. Welcoming. Clean. Super comfy mattress. Wood ready to go for evening fires in the wood burning stove. So many thoughtful touches in the kitchen too. It felt private and remote while being less than 10 miles from town. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Studying Getaway

Great little house. Little difficult to find on Google Maps as address doesn’t coincide with latitude and longitude of the house on the Vrbo website. There is a clawfoot tub but no whirlpool or spa jet tub that was listed. Host was relatively responsive but there was difficulty connecting to the WiFi because the password wasn’t at the site and with the remote location, I had to go into town to have reliable service to contact host. Overall very happy.
