This was probably the most beautiful property I’ve ever rented. A spectacular house with an incredible view. We live in Sandpoint and go sailing on lake Pend Oreille every weekend but to be in Garfield Bay and to have this aspect was just breathtaking. It’s a quiet neighborhood, a great dock, beautiful sunrises, and sunsets. The house has every single amenity you could ask for. There was even s’more making materials on the table ready for us when we checked in! The owner, Tom, was quick to always answering my questions and his manager who met us at check in was lovely. I could feel how this house was loved and cared for and I felt it was an honor to stay in his beautiful home. Thank you, Tom!

A Perfect Blend of Adventure and Relaxation

Our Lakeside Lodge Family Vacation at Garfield Bay Waterfront was an absolute blast! The views of Lake Pend Oreille and the surrounding mountains were simply breathtaking. The two large decks were perfect for relaxing, and the private dock was great for our boat and water toys. We made good use of the kayaks and paddle boat provided by the thoughtful owner. Rainy days were no problem with plenty to do inside the cozy yet spacious home. The lower-level game room, with darts, snooker/pool, and a variety of board games, kept everyone entertained. When the wind picked up, kite-flying from the dock added an unexpected thrill. The grandchildren loved finding the hidden sweets and enjoying the games and each other's company. The house comfortably accommodated our whole family with plenty of beds and extra towels, even though we brought our own. The bidets were a fascination for our youngest grandchildren and added a luxurious touch. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and made meal preparation a breeze. Tom and Joni were wonderful and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made a difference. The large outdoor firepit overlooking the bay was a fantastic spot for evening gatherings and smores, and we had a spectacular view of the fireworks display over the 4th of July weekend. Our Lakeside Lodge Family Vacation was filled with joy, adventure, and togetherness. We can't wait to come back!

Needed extra rooms for a large crowd and this location was close to us. We used it for sleeping only. Turned out to be a fantastic home for a lakeside vacation. Lots of room to spread out. Gorgeous dock. Beautiful bay. I am super familiar with this bay and would recommend this home to anyone. Great find.

Tom and Joni were great to work with. They had taken care of all the details. Our family had a wonderful time and the home was the perfect setting. Beautiful surroundings in Garfield Bay, one of the best places on the lake.
