Yearly getaway

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here in the last week of February and it is awesome. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but not to far. Great house to spend a relaxing week away.

Honeymoon

We spent our honeymoon week here and absolutely loved it. Wouldn’t change a thing and we will definitely be booking again. The house is perfectly laid out especially for to small families, a stones throw away from the beach while still feeling private with a large Corner lot.

Awesome House

The house was awesome. We were looking for a nice place to stay while shooting in ASA archery tournament in Foley and this was awesome. Very clean and well furnished. Just steps from the beach and a very quiet location. Definitely will look to stay here again.

Fort Morgan

We had the best weekend at this house, it’s in the perfect location, very quiet and nice. Easy to get to and from the beach. The house has everything you need and more to cook meals, Beds are very comfortable, and it’s very clean. I can’t recommend this house enough!

Amazing house!

This property was better than described and the perfect size for my family (2adults,2 teens). This house was beautifully decorated and stocked with all you need for a great beach getaway. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Highly recommended!!!!!

Wonderful beach house

This beach house is so relaxing from the beautiful interior to most comfortable chairs on the front deck overlooking the ocean. The owners were fantastic to work with and paid a lot of attention to detail with information. The owners take great care of this house and it shows. I will definitely be back at some point. This house makes your cares of the world go away while you are relaxing.

Wonderful Stay!

This house is definitely worth the stay. It is accurately listed on VRBO. Access to the beach could not have been easier. Clean, updated & nicely furnished. Communication with the owner was so easy. We were just here for a quick weekend to visit family, but next time we will be back for a longer stay. There are a couple of restaurants close by, but this house is on the quiet end of Gulf Shores near Fort Morgan, which we loved.

Steps _2_the _beach

Wonderful house, was concerned the beach wouldn’t be as visible as claimed, but thanks to the porch that wraps around to both sides of the house we could see from the left side and right side! We were actually able to watch dolphins playing on Monday morning. It was perfect for 2 couples and 4 children! Nice, peaceful neighborhood, perfect for family get away! Will definitely be back soon!

Great Spot

To reiterate what some of the other guests have said... Even though the property is not "on the beach" it's right across the street from the beach entrance. My wife and I sat on the front porch and watched the sunrise with our coffee each morning while the kids were still asleep. Neighborhood was quiet and all the other guests were very friendly. The beach cart and chairs that came with the property were perfect. The chairs were a much better quality than the cheap ones we brought with us. Would stay here again.

50 steps review

The house was extremely nice. Remodeled with new appliances. We had everything we needed and not just cheap stuff. My friends found the king size bed too firm but everybody likes somethi g different. I stayed in one of the bunk beds and it was very comfortable. I would stay again. Nice family or friend house for our four night stay in May of 2025..

The Perfect Stay

Our family had the best stay at this vacation home! The location was perfect. It truly was 50 steps to the beach. The home was beautiful and well maintained. It was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of seating and a well appointed kitchen. The grill and beach supplies were great and came in so handy. The porch was amazing! We sat outside most of the time and enjoyed the beautiful views. The communication with the owners was great. They were very welcoming and helpful. The ease of checkout was fantastic! We loved how they didn’t give us a list of chores to do before leaving. It was a great touch of 5 star service!! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

An Amazing Beach Experience

My family loves the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, AL, and we’ve vacationed there for the last six years. This was by far the nicest home we’ve rented with small touches that made the stay even more comfortable. While the beach is the star, “Steps from Beach” helped us not only get to the sand quickly, but provided a safe and well stocked base for our adventures. My children loved the bunk beds. My wife loved the little touches of decor throughout the home. And I loved how comfortable the beds, linens, and furniture was. I’m honestly hesitant to share how much we loved our stay, because I’m afraid it will become so popular we’ll never be able to rent it again. Also, having hosts like Joe, who were very communicative, make all the difference in having a relaxing vacation.

Great family fun.

House was perfect for our family. Up to date appliances, flat screens in every bedroom, super fast internet! You can hear the ocean from the front porch and have a great sunset view from the porch! Host is TOP notch too, we will be back.
