Our stay at this property was a positive experience overall. We appreciated the attentiveness of the host, the cleanliness of the house and yard, and the close proximity to so many restaurants and activities. It did tend to be loud at times due to the neighbors and the street where the property is located; otherwise, everything was good. Thank you :)
We had a great visit at Tracey's place. The house is renovated and comfortable. Would give it five stars except for the couch isn't up to the standards of the rest of the house. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again. Worked out well with our four-legged baby girl.
Wonderful pet friendly home walking distance to Whiskey Row
This is a charming home with a fenced yard and walking distance to whiskey row. I was amazed at how clean it was and the host kept in touch via messaging to ensure all was well throughout the stay. We had a dog with us and were able to leave him outside while we ventured out. It was the perfect place for us and we would love to come again,
The house is very charming and in a great location. I spoke with Tracey several times before and during our stay and she was quick to respond back to me. Everything was clean and plenty necessities to make us comfortable. We'll be renting this home again. P.J. Scharer
Very cute historic home that is walking distance to downtown. The yard is great for dogs and the kitchen is well stocked if you plan on cooking. The beds are really comfortable but be aware that the couch in the living room is very firm. It’s okay for watching a short movie but you may not want to settle in for a Lord of the Rings marathon on it . The owner Tracey has great communication and is pleasant to work with.
The house is very cute and fit our family of four well. The enclosed backyard was great for our dogs. There is a great brewery about a block away and downtown Prescott is very close as well. The host was excellent and very communicative. She was one of the best I have ever had. I would recommend this place and stay again. It was not a problem for us but it is located in between a thift store and apartment complex, so not a traditional neighborhood.
Great last minute stay for my family & my 2 larger dogs.
It's a great home that's really close to downtown Prescott. It's a little off the beaten path but close enough. It's a block from a local BREW HOUSE that's not too loud with corn hole that does allow dogs FYI.
The owner is very friendly. And the rules are accommodating. We don't let our dogs on furniture so we kept that rule consistent for this house to be respectful the to the owner.
The bed was comfortable. We had minimal complaints of the stay. 5 stars from our family.
The house is nice. We especially enjoyed being able to sit outside with our two small dogs in the fenced in yard. A few things were not in the home that were listed, but I did get a response from the owner about them. The beds were comfortable and it was a quick drive to Whiskey Row. We had a problem being locked out because the screen door locked. We had to wait 45 minutes before getting a code to the lock box for the key to open the screen door. It was frustrating when I called the number provided for help to get a notice that the voicemail was full. Someone needs to be available in case of an emergency. Overall this is nice place to stay for a small family traveling with pets.

About the host
Hosted by Tracey Rodriguez
Hi! I’m based in Phoenix, Arizona, and I absolutely love living where sunshine and beautiful desert views are part of everyday life. I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
I’ve been happily married for 35 years, and we have two adult daughters and six amazing grandbabies. Family is everything to me, and we love spending time together, traveling the world, and making memories with friends along the way.
Being a host brings me so much joy because I get to create a warm, welcoming space where guests can relax, recharge, and feel at home. I love helping people have an amazing experience—whether they’re here to explore, unwind, or celebrate something special. Hosting allows me to share a little piece of what I love about this area while making meaningful connections along the way.
Why they chose this property
Nestled in one of Prescott’s most charming and historic areas, the neighborhood has a peaceful, small-town feel with tree-lined streets, unique homes full of character, and that perfect blend of nature and community. Mornings are especially beautiful here, with crisp mountain air, soft sunlight filtering through the pines, and the quiet calm that makes you want to slow down and savor the moment.
What I enjoy most is how walkable and inviting the area is. You’re just minutes from the heart of downtown, where you can explore local shops, cozy cafés, and enjoy the energy of the town square—yet still come back to a space that feels relaxed and tucked away. There’s something special about being so close to everything while still feeling like you have your own little retreat.
I also love how connected the neighborhood is to the outdoors. Whether it’s a peaceful walk, taking in the seasonal beauty, or simply sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air, it’s the kind of place that naturally invites you to unwind. It’s truly the best of Prescott living—charming, convenient, and full of heart.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly stand out is the experience of stepping back in time while still enjoying modern comfort. This original home, built in 1924, is full of character and history—from the beautiful original floors to the vintage doors and high ceilings that tell a story of a bygone era.
It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a unique, nostalgic experience you won’t find in newer homes. If you appreciate charm, craftsmanship, and a touch of history, this space offers something truly special.
