DUE TO EXTREME HEAT TEMPERATURES Energy United "Beat The Peak" program. AC thermostat will be regulated. Temperatures 85 degrees and below set thermostat no lower than 72 degrees. Temps 85-95 degrees the AC will be set no lower than 75 degrees. Temps 95+ degrees set thermostat no lower than 76 degrees. Beautiful and comfortable Lake Badin (also known as) Badin Lake home with lake views high up on a hill. If you are bringing a boat make sure you have 8cyl vehicle or 4wd. Circle driveway is at a steep angle.

2 BEDROOM 2 BATH. SMOKE FREE. NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE. DOGS WELCOME (25 lb. limit) $110 double occupancy week days. $125 Friday, Sat. & holidays. Add $25 per person per night each additional person up to 4 total. $50 pet deposit. Max 2 dogs. Home is fully carpeted. Lots of amenities. Master has King bed. Guest bedroom has queen bed. Front porch is screened in.

NO PARTIES or large gatherings. No overnight guest that have not paid. If unregistered guest spend the night you will be charged from your deposit.

Fully stocked kitchen. Coffee maker & coffee. Washer & dryer. Outdoor grill (propane).

Great relaxing home. Located in the Uwharrie National Forest. Lots of day trips for the traveler. Fishing, hiking, biking, Emerald mines, Reed Gold Mine, NC State Zoo in Asheboro, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Morrow Mountain State Park , NC Wine Tour, and several golf courses.

Community has a private boat launch with separate parking for vehicle and trailer off property. You are not allowed to leave your vehicle and trailer at the boat ramp. Parking lot up the street. Boat launch approx. 5 minutes from house. Go a couple more blocks and there is a community fishing pier. Sign says Beach #3.

Bring your boat or Personal Water Craft. There is a circle drive way in front of home where you can park your boat and trailer. Vehicles only up this driveway. It is very steep.

Why they chose this property

My family has owned property at Badin Lake since 1954. They loved the area. I bought this home because of the family ties, lake view and my love of fishing.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and relaxing. Lots of time for fishing. Bass fishing tournaments year round. Great location for numerous "day trips"'. Emerald mines, NC State Zoo, Charlotte/Lowe's Motor Speedway, golfing, hiking, biking, search for Big Foot in the Uwharrie National Forest, or just sit on the porch and read a good book. Then take a walk. The woods are beautiful. Especially in fall.
