**Max of 2 pets up to 40 lbs each. Pet fee is added by selecting number of pets in guest listing. Failure to add pets may result in eviction without refund.**

Perfect Girls Trip Vibe

We just spent the weekend at this beautiful beach house in Port Aransas for a girls’ trip with 10 ladies, and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The house had plenty of space for all of us—no issues at all with bathrooms or sleeping arrangements. The beds were cozy, the layout was great, and everyone felt at home. We loved having both the pool and the beach, it gave us the best of both worlds. In between lounging and catching up, we enjoyed exploring the local bars, restaurants, and shops, which made the location even more ideal. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and connection. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely be recommending this home to anyone planning a getaway to Port A.

Fun house

Katherine was a wonderful host, this was out first time to Texas! We had a wonderful time, close to the beach and had the nice private pool access, will definitely keep this in mind if we come here again! Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have booked with three20properties however, this was the first time in the shell shack since it's dog friendly. The reason we keep coming back to three20properties is the pools at both properties, cleanliness, golf cart discount and the option to bring your family pet. Shell Shack was perfect for our two families and the two pups we brought with us. The house was clean and well stocked plus the binder was super helpful as to where to eat and what needs to get done for check out. Can I say the pool was a huge hit and one of the main reasons why we book with three20properties. After a long day at the beach, the pool is the perfect end. The living room was big enough to hold everyone for an evening of couch cuddling and popcorn.

Perfect for our family getaway

This home was perfect for our family of 5, but had so much more room than we used. Huge bonus is the golf cart and private pool. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and a surplus of towels and extra bed linens. We stay in Port A a few times a year and this home had the coolest and best A/C we've ever come across. We would definitely stay again and recommend this home to others.

PERFECT PLACE FOR PERFECT VACATION

We arrived about 6pm and had a little issue with the entry process but communication with the Manager/Owner was easy and they were able to fix the lock issue with no other problems. The house is beautiful, exactly like the pictures. The swimming pool is great, perfect for the family to enjoy. Quiet area, the house sits at the end of the road, so there wasn't any thru traffic, which is nice. Plenty of towels for both bath and pool are provided. They also have board games for family to enjoy, which we did. Everything about this home was perfect and we will definitely be back.

Best communication, lovely property, perfect for runners!

We spent our family Christmas/New Year during the great freeze of 2022 🤣 Despite the challenges that the weather provided, Kathy made sure that we were 110% taken care of. We absolutely loved having the beach within walking distance and the private pool for relaxing and splashing. Special note for runners *there is many miles of beach front that is runable, I ran every morning (felt completely safe running as a lone female) and enjoyed watching the sun come up. We had a really hard time leaving definitely plan on coming back!!!

Do not rent this property!

We checked in 15 min early, that being said 15 hours later would not have been enough time to correct problems. House very dirty, burners on stove not working. Dishwasher leaking. Shower in master broke. Only one towel provided in master. Hardly any dishes not near enough to cook a proper meal, even if the stove worked. Had lots of peel and stick notes on everything. Lots of cleaning expected to be done yet nothing provided to do so. No kitchen towels to even wipe counter available.Large yellow stain resembling /smelling of cat piss in second bedroom. Only 2 wash pods provided but even if I wanted to wash it the stupid notes leaved all over the place asked not to Wash comforters. Sand in every bed, except one bunk bed! Home HOT. Another note asked not to turn thermostat below 70 total understand that yet house never cooled below 75. We had to go to the store and purchase basic cleaning supplies just to stay.

Thank you for your response. 1. You asked to enter my home early, Instated housekeeping had not completed restock which takes about 15 minutes but you wanted to enter. My housekeeper came shortly after you entered to leave more than enough towels and supplies. This is well documented. 2. A guest literally left 3 hours prior to your arrival and broke the burner. You were alerted of the problem with the stove as soon as I was alerted, unfortunately, repairs on the island do not turn around in less than 48 hours. As for your other responses, I have contacted the cleaning team and have not had the same response from them regarding issues of lack of dishes or other items. The “sticky notes” are labels to help make sure dishes were not used in the microwave that are meant for outdoor use or to help housekeepers return items to the correct cabinets. We have many folks who have stayed before and after you that did not have the same experience. In fact you did not contact me one time during the stay to ask for supplies or anything. While I appreciate your candor, please note that you have provided an unfounded, inaccurate review of my home.

A great home in the perfect location

We had an amazing stay at the Shell Shack! The location at the end of the road made it feel incredibly safe, private, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home itself is thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space in every area, making it comfortable for everyone. One of our favorite features was the spacious area under the house, which was ideal for outdoor activities and hanging out. The heated pool truly made all the difference and added an extra level of enjoyment to our stay. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The communication was excellent, and the detailed instructions made everything easy and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend the Shell Shack and would love to stay again!

Relaxing Getaway

Property is close to the beach and a nice walk. The pool was perfect for relaxing. King size bed was comfortable. Washer and dryer was nice to have so I didn’t come home with laundry to do.

Awesome Beach Home

We enjoyed our stay so much! The home is beautiful, well equipped and clean. The private pool was so convenient and perfect for my 10 year old son. We also appreciated the pets allowed so we could bring our two small dogs.

We, Russ & Kathy, are native Texans who grew up on Port Aransas beaches. This is truly our happy place. We can see the place we spent the first part of our honeymoon from our beach home’s porch. It's a special place filled with a lifetime of memories. We absolutely love everything about Port A (searching for sea shells, building sandcastles, cruising the town on warm summer nights with an ice cream in hand) and are excited to share it with you and your family. Our goal is to provide families a comfortable space to return to year after year making memories to last a lifetime.
