Overall a 4/5, satisfied with the property and location. Located just a short distance off HWY 14, good location for visiting Santa Fe, tiny towns on 14 and trails.
This location, the hosts, and the country home could not have been better. Perfect for a quiet getaway, had everything I needed and then some, and close (but not too close) to all that I wanted to see and do. HIGHLY recommend.

R.R., thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am happy you enjoyed your time here. Thanks again for staying at Coyote Springs Studio!
This was the perfect location for our adventures. We like to stay at places with personality and Tom has done this beautifully. Close to route 14 without hearing the noise. The tower was a lovely spot for quiet time.

I am happy to hear you had a great time. Also many thanks for your ability to reset the mystery breaker saving me a trip from Colorado. Although it would have been nice to meet in person
Please consider coyote springs guest house for any future visits for yourself and friends.
The house was amazing and very spacious. The loft was super fun with a great ladder leading up to it. The location was so peaceful and perfect for star gazing. We loved the meditation tower and wish we could have stayed much longer!

Thank you very much. I am happy you were able to experience the joy of living on the Prairie at Coyote Springs
Easy access to Santa Fe, while still being truly in the desert. The loft was great for my partner and I, as we like a firm bed, and the thin cushions worked out well. Everyone in our group loved hearing the wildlife each morning!

Quiet & peacful
Definitely enjoyed our stay! Had a lot of fun with my family. Nice little place to stay, plenty of space since there were 6 of us. Didn't have signal a lot of the time but gave us a chance to disconnect from the phones for a bit. Overall a nice place to stay, very quiet and peaceful.

Excellent spot to stay!
This place was great. Our boys loved the little loft and playing outside. Very beautiful landscape. The House is far enough away from everything but close enough to not be a hassle to go into town. The outside could use a little cleaning up but It is a great spot.

Thanks for your review. I am so happy kids had a great time as there really is not much for kids to do. You must have done a great job teaching them how to enjoy the joys of nature! I am curious as to what part of the outdoors was a mess. I keep the area around the studio free of clutter, with no trash. Let me know specifically and I will be sure no future guests experience any discomfort.
We were out and about during the day but the evenings were just wonderful. Peaceful and many nature sounds at night. Views were amazing.

Peaceful secluded cabin wonderfully funished
Tom's cabin has everything a family needs to relax and stay for a few days. We choose this as a place to decompress after a hectic Spring Break ski trip to Colorado. It was the perfect stop-over point for our drive back to Texas. It is only a short drive into Santa Fe, and it was nice to come back here and look at the brilliant night sky and listen to the coyotes.

I love sharing my space with people like you who appreciate the treasures the prairie life has to offer.
This was a very quiet and peaceful place. It would make a good retreat spot. When you are in a home made from the earth and trees, it feels grounded and earthy.
Tom's rental was so quiet and clean and he provided absolutely everything we might need - including condiments and salad dressing! It was out in the country but easy to get to and not far from Santa Fe. The one time we had a question (because we couldn't figure something out) he responded right away. Easiest and most beautiful place I've ever stayed.

Great space just minutes from Santa Fe!
This was a wonderful property. Everything was just as advertised, but there is not enough space to explain the charm and comfort of this home. We had everything we needed, felt safe and comfortable, and got many good nights sleep. We used it as our home base to explore many different areas of NM. Would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Viki, you two were some of the most courteous and neat guests I have ever had. Thank you for your attention to detail. Guests like you are the reason I rent through VRBO.
About the host
Hosted by Thomas Berkes
I built my home and have enjoyed Santa Fe country living for many years. Traveling, sailing, cooking playing music are a few of my interests.
Why they chose this property
The casita was originally built as a music studio, then having rented it for a few years long term I wanted visitors to get the country experience while visiting Santa Fe.
What makes this property unique
Peaceful with a tower for meditation, prayer or just enjoying the view.
