Rhododendron is home to this cabin. Sandy River and Mount Hood National Forest reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Mountain Sports and Rainbow Trout Farm. Alpine Slide and Mt Hood Cultural Center and Museum are also worth visiting.
This home was very cute but the host wasnt too well versed in using VRBO so there was some issues with check in. The home is about 5 minutes deep into a neighborhood off the highway so not too bad but alot of back roads/side streets to get there. There was unfortunately plumbing issues and it took the host multiple hours to get back to me each time i reached out . The hot tub area is not lit like at all, so it's very dark and a little scary at night but still usable. Overall a very nice home but some hang-ups for sure. Also not close enough to the mountain to have snow most of the tear.

We’re sorry that the stay didn’t live up to expectations. We fully acknowledge that the check in was not as smooth as it normally is as we were still getting with VRBO’s process. As for the plumbing issue we only got a message 30 minutes before check out, any slow communication was after check-out.
While Rhododendron and the surrounding areas are close to the mountain it was never stated that this area gets snow. There are years where government camp doesn’t even get snow. The listing was also described as being in a residential neighborhood so not sure why this is considered a negative. For the area this listing is very easily accessible.
We are Superhosts and a Guest Favorite with all 5 star reviews on Airbnb so this (first) negative review came as a shock.
