We stayed here for 2 days and had a great experience. The house was very nice and clean, and it’s in a great location — very close to Bryson City and the tubing center. Highly recommended!
Had a great time at the Bait and Tackle! Phil has so many thoughtful and personal touches in the home that made the experience even better. Even had some trouble with the keypad and he was quick to get on the phone with me and help. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautifully appointed apartment. Spacious, yet cosy. It's obvious Phil an has put a lot thought and effort into making this an oasis. Phil went the extra mile to accommodate us and make our wedding anniversary special. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.....thank you Phil

Seems like the out of country guests are very harsh in giving 5 stars. Bad reviews kill a business which is why we have done everything possible to earn 5 stars. If the pictures are accurate then why just 4? What was missed by use exactly?
This is a clean, comfortable unit that is close to downtown Bryson. We came to ride the train during hot June temps. It was nice to come back to a cool comfortable place! It offers everything you would need.
My son loved the gaming table. We loved the attention to detail (gourmet coffee? Mentos, dove chocolate). This was a great place to stay with all the necessities of home, and i loved the new adustable bed. All at a good cost.

If you’re looking for a nice comfortable place to stay that is super convenient to downtown Bryson City, Deep Creek, The Parks, and shopping, this is it! Your will also have any and everything you could possibly need. ie; pots, pans, coffee, blow dryer, ironing board and iron, even a toothbrush! Phil thought of everything!What you won’t get though is a view from the apartment. It sits across the street from an old industrial Singer Plant, so there’s not much to look at out your window or from your outside seating area. But, you are literally right down the road from a boat ramp with picnic tables and bbq grills by a beautiful river. There are some beautiful mornings to be seen there with the fog on the mountains and water in the mornings.I definitely recommend this place for its convenience.

Perfect review and accurate. I wish the view was better the old Powell mill may be removed one day I hope as it’s river frontage had better days but you can still see the mountains.
It is a roomy clean unit. Close to town. Price is good the only thing that needs to be changed is the sofa. It is super hard and small. It looks like it should be in a child’s room. With it getting Dark at 6;00 we were back at the unit. We are grateful for the adjustable bed because the sofa was so uncomfortable. Would stay again if they got a new sofa.

Thanks for the review. The sofa is new and a sofa bed being that this is much better than a hotel that do not have sofa's and at a much cheaper rate I believe dinging us for a personal preference like that is absolutely wrong and on thanksgiving. I would be happy to spend a few thousand dollars for a better one as that is what they cost. That means to cover the cost we must charge you much more. Get it?
