About the host
Hosted by Melissa Courter
We moved our family to Indiana recently after spending 30 years in Northern NJ. In my former life I was a professional flutist and ran a custom cookie business. Now I am a Kindergarten teacher at my son's school.
Our move to the midwest is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the greater NYC area. We enjoy hosting because we can share with our guests the serene view that we are blessed with every day. We have met some wonderful people from all over the world and look forward to meeting more in the years to come.

Why they chose this property
We love this neighborhood because it is allows us to experience the natural beauty of Southern Indiana yet it is just minutes to all of the conveniences of the city.
What makes this property unique
The long and winding road under the canopy of trees brings you one mile up the hill to a spectacular view of the valley below. The house itself has many unique features that the former owners put into it from their travels to Europe. It has many large gathering spaces that make hosting family events easy.
