Fox Cabin @ Orange Tractor Retreat: 3BR ADA accessible cabin on 40 wooded acres

Flexible, accessible, and designed to fit how you need it.

Fox Cabin is our most flexible space, thoughtfully designed with ADA accessibility and adaptable sleeping arrangements to comfortably accommodate a wide range of guests. Located among our five cabins on a private cul-de-sac, Fox overlooks 40 acres of pine forest above the Wisconsin River.

What makes Fox unique is its adaptability. The ADA-accessible main-level bedroom can be configured with either one king bed or two twin XL beds, depending on your needs, and includes a full ADA-accessible bathroom. Upstairs, two open lofts provide additional sleeping space—one with two twin beds and the other with a queen—along with a convenient powder room. Fox comfortably sleeps six guests, with a main-level sleeper sofa available for up to two additional guests for an additional fee.

Step onto your private patio complete with Adirondack chairs, a Solo Stove fire pit (with firewood), picnic table, and a gas grill that invites you to settle in and enjoy the peace. Sunrise coffee and evening wine both feel right at home here.

Inside, the cabin is fully equipped with quality linens and towels, a walk-in shower, stocked kitchen, coffee and tea, and a smart TV. Wi-Fi and a workspace are also available if you need to stay connected.

Dogs are welcome, with durable flooring, a comfortable dog bed, and on-site trails with waste stations.

After booking, we’ll share our curated guide to the area—including favorite spots for supper clubs and restaurants, hiking, and exploring the Dells—so you can experience the best of both energy and escape.

Founded in 2019, Orange Tractor Retreat is a family run business. We’re two married couples, managing the next phase of our lives as our kids all head to college and leave us as empty-nesters. We built the Orange Tractor Retreat for people who love the smell of pine, enjoy watching eagles, the quiet, calm interaction with nature and for those who love the fun and excitement of the central Wisconsin/Dells area. Our cabins were built to be the home base for all that you want to experience in the Dells. We've been personally involved in every aspect of Orange Tractor Retreat. Beginning with rescuing our namesake - a 1961 Allis Chalmers tractor left over on the property when we purchased it. We’ve rehabilitated the forest, marked the paths, decided on cabin placement based on the trees, designed and furnished the cabins… and everything in between. We have big plans for OTR, and we hope you’ll join us in our journey!

The home of our Fox Cabin is a 40 acre old growth forest, appreciated for its lovely, fresh-scented pines, red and white oaks. We know that nature lovers, couples, families, remote workers (and their dogs!) will find what they need at Fox. Stay inside and enjoy the expansive windows and sliding doors as you view the outside, cook and serve in the full size kitchen with island and then relax on the comfortable, pullout couch while you stay cozy with the gas fire place. Go outside and enjoy access to your own private patio with fire pit and gas grill and then head out to walk our trails and find yourself at the amazing Wisconsin River for the most beautiful sunset, during any season!

Our Fox Cabin is a cute, comfy, modern “glam-ping” retreat that seamlessly connects the appreciation of nature to the comforts and convenience of home. The ADA acessible bedroom on the main floor offers beautiful views of the forest and can be configured as a king bed or two twin XL beds to accommodate guests with a wheelchair. Guests will appreciate the amazing, modern shower and lighted mirror in the huge bathroom. The connected kitchen, island with seating and lovely main space are perfect for a nice evening in. Go up the custom made ships ladder to the 2nd floor loft with 2 twin beds and 1 queen bed. Guest needs are met with coffee and basic spices in the kitchen; Standard Textile commercial towels and sheets, and Public Goods shampoo, conditioner and bath wash are ready for you. So, go out and enjoy the grounds, and/or explore the good food, fun bar scene, shops, wineries and excitement of the Wisconsin Dells! The Fox Cabin will be your calm home base when visiting the Dells!
