Great place to stay, private plenty of wildlife. Everything you need to cook with.A grill and a deck. Loved it. Also Carolyn was amazing. We had pets and the ease of having a fenced back yard was so great and low stress having them a place to be secure. Thank you for having us while we been waiting for our home to be ready :)

Carolyn was great. Very clean and quiet location. Great value for the time of year. The only thing to improve the stay is a better non-stick pan for cooking eggs and secure the rear door better.

Thanks for your kind words. So glad everything went well. The back door just needs to be pulled hard to close and then push on it to make sure it is closed. I have attached a chain to the inside of the door to secure it better. Sorry none of the pans were non-stick. I will check that out and add one to those that are there. Thanks for coming and for your suggestions. I am always looking for ways to make things better and improve the stay for my guests.

We thank you for coming back. Always special to share our Retreat. Last time I was down at the property, a beautiful deer just stood in the yard and watched me. Of course, before I got my camera ready, she bounded away. The property is wooded around the Retreat and the animals feel safe and don't mind us seeing them. A little spot of God's creation.

Wakulla Vacay

We had a great time with the grandkids! The Marine Specimen Lab was a big hit and Wakulla springs never lets you down. The cabin was conveniently located and a really peaceful stay.

The host was the best thing about this stay. She is very kind, helpful and prompt at communicating. She even went above and beyond by mailing my daughter's left stuffed animal back to her. Thank you!

It was a pleasure having you. When I found the stuffed animal I knew it was special to a child and wanted to return it as quickly as possible. I taught kindergarden and first grade for 43 years. Children are very special to me. At the Retreat, children will find books that I used when I taught. I feel it is a great opportunity for parents to be able to read special books while they are there. One special book is The Giving Tree which has a message for adults and children. So happy I was able to get the stuffed animal back in your child's hands. Thanks so much for coming.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay here while in town for the Florida State game. It is a quiet and cozy property with a short drive to Tallahassee. The house has many amenities and lots of space. It was perfect for everything we needed, highly recommend!!

Peaceful stay

The house was located in nice location that was close to our fishing charters. It felt secluded and very peaceful. The house was very clean and had all the things you would need. I really appreciated the house being dog friendly with the fenced yard. The host was very nice, accessible, and quick to respond. I would stay here again!

The cutest house

We loved staying at this property. We took our dogs and the backyard was so wonderful, we didnt have to worry about them at all. It is off the beaten path which is what we wanted. Everything we needed was supplied and we.didnt want for anything.
