Totally enjoyed my stay at the property. Clean, well equipped, and a pleasure to visit. Exterior was fantastic with the fire pit area and view of the Watauga River. Close to numerous restaurants in Elizabethton and other businesses. Just a great location to access both the Watauga & South Holston Rivers. Will stay with Ellis next time I am in Elizabethton.
This was our second time staying at REELaxed. The amenities provided make us feel as if we have walked into a 4-Star hotel. Our plans are to return again in 2026.
Can’t say enough about the property and Jarrod. Place was perfect for 2 friends and I doing a 2 day fishing trip. Super clean. Nice outdoor sitting areas that let you enjoy the river.I always cook on these trips and worry about what I won’t find at the rentals that I need. I reached out to Jarrod to let him know I was going to be roasting a chicken. He got back to me that he’d made sure they had some good pans. When I got there, there were 3 new Pyrex baking dishes and a roasting pan. Best rental kitchen I’ve used. We’ll stay here again next time.

Beth,
You all were awesome and glad the dogs enjoyed the property and the river. Having great guests makes the short term rental business so worth it! We look forward to hosting you all again in the future!
We stayed for the International Storytelling Festival, which was about 30 minutes away. This property is amazing! It is right on the river and all of the back windows had views of the river. Jarrod was a great host, providing us with everything we needed. Jarrod welcomed us by text and let us know that he was available if we needed anything. Great host! Great property!
We had a lovely stay at Jarrod’s house. The house was pristine and appointed very nicely and was very comfortable. Beautiful spot on the river. Jarrod was a terrific host. We did not need anything while there, but Jarrod made it clear to let him know if we needed anything.
REELaxed on Watauga River is a very nice property in Elizabethton, TN. The house is spacious and the property is large, peaceful and quiet. The house offerered everything we needed. There is also a firepit with chairs adjacent to the river that is a place to sit, relax, and enjoy time with family and friends. Jarrod and Megan are very attentive hosts.
From the sounds of the Watauga river rushing by to the darling baby geese and family we got to watch every day, this hidden gem was everything we hoped it would be and more. The host was very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. Check in and out was a breeze! Everything was so clean and stocked with coffees, creamers, and sweet welcome gifts (loved the energy waters)! We will definitely be making plans to return!

I enjoyed so much hosting you and your family for a month! You all were great guests and please come back and stay anytime!
Beautiful home with everything we needed. Comfy beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Awesome fire pit down by the water. Even the holders for roasting marshmallow were provided! The view is outstanding! Back porch is amazing...with both a dining area, and a sitting area with grill. So close to downtown, and yet you feel like you're out in the country! It's peaceful, safe and simply marvelous. We have family in town...so we used it as an "overflow" house...but everyone wanted to come spend time with us! When we weren't marveling at the river and the mountain behind it, we were enjoying football on the MASSIVE TV! I'm sure we'll be back. The entire family loved this house!
