Thank you for your feedback. While we’re glad you found the home beautiful and enjoyed the privacy, we do feel there is important context missing. Your stay occurred during Tropical Storm Bertha, the first tropical weather event of the season. The pool had been professionally serviced immediately before your arrival and is serviced weekly. Because it is not enclosed, heavy rain, wind, and blowing debris from the storm quickly affected the water. We explained during your stay that repeatedly sending the pool company out between rain bands would have been ineffective, as the weather would have immediately undone the work. We appreciated your understanding at the time and simply asked for a little grace while the storm passed. Regarding the fishing, we advertise beautiful water views, not direct waterfront or bay access. Nearby public access is available at Salinas Park for both the bay and the beach. Had you reached out, we would have been happy to direct you there. It sounds like you may have attempted to cross marshland or private property, which is not intended as a public access point. We’re also sorry to hear about the tub and TV. Those concerns were never reported during your stay, and we would have gladly sent maintenance to troubleshoot them. We appreciate your compliments about the home itself and hope this provides future guests with the full context surrounding a stay that coincided with an active tropical storm.
