Small but comfy cabin with needed essentials—big bed, great shower, AC that kept us cool in 89 degree heat. Loved the big fenced acre to let our dog explore. We heard lots of stellar jays and woodpeckers. Loved the immense cedar trees. A bit more lighting in the cabin would be helpful, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.
I enjoyed my stay in this cozy cabin. The owners were really nice and helpful. I went for a quiet few days surrounded by nature and it met my wants. It also has reliable internet so, I could work remotely in the woods! My dog and I explored the beautiful area. Thanks for sharing your cabin, I would stay again.
The property was real nice we were out at the lakes during the day and back at the cabin at night the ambiance was beautiful watching the stars at night and able to BBQ we would highly recommend staying!
Nice cabin with a great bed, great shower and great internet. Unfortunately, the photos do not show the owner's two-story home less than 50 feet next door with a very powerful security floodlight shining on the cabin's back deck at night, together with windows looking down on the same deck. This kind of took away any sense of privacy and seclusion. Very nice large play area for dogs.
I needed a quiet place to relax and work for a few days of solitude and the cozy cabin in the woods delivered on everything I was looking for.
The perfect cabin:
Clean, comfortable, well-stocked (and reliable internet!) this remodeled cabin is filled with rustic charm.
The perfect area:
Super quiet and peaceful, with great walks and hikes all around. A short drive into historic Nevada City.
The perfect hosts:
Responsive and friendly, they made my stay easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
I will be back!
