Come stay up north on the farm. Uniquely situated on 170 acres. This turn of the Century Enos family remolded farm house is just minutes away from our Northern Michigan playground. Located in the Black River area of Cheboygan Michigan. Close to town, five lakes, two rivers, Mackinaw Island, Mackinaw City,casinos,shopping, and also aval. hunting on 50 private acres of the property. If you are looking for lakes, rivers, golfing, skiing, hiking, fishing, ATV & dirt bike riding, boating, snowmobiling, Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island, the Upper Peninsula and so much more. Then come witness the simple laid back lifestyle of country style living. Go venture out on day trips or just hang out at the farmhouse and take in the fresh air and peaceful relaxing ambiance. With views of woods (in the fall the colors are just breath taking), 50 acre fields of corn or hay or some of the barns in the backyard. Hang out on the porch and watch one of Northern Michigan's beautiful sunsets skies disappear with the day. The farm house is perfect for the family, a few couples, girls or guys week away, mini church retreats, or even just the two of ya. You can be assured that our tastefully decorated home is clean and comfortable and best of all relaxing. Felt right at home immediately

We were a group of 4 age 70+ and this was a very comfort week stay. We felt at home and as we were playing games or just sitting talking, one of us would say, "This is a perfect (comfortable, cute) house. It is not a large house, but was just right in size for the 4 of us. It is in a very quiet area and we had a wonderful, very pleasant stay. The owner was very quick to answer any questions. I would not hesitate for a moment to book another stay if/when I was planning another visit to the area. It is very close to the Mackinaw Bridge so a visit to the straits is easily accomplished. We also found the people of Cheboygan are very helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable visit and stay.

Great Vacation Home

We enjoyed this cozy ranch house! Allowed us to have good quality family time. Getting to visit with the horses was an unexpected bonus! Only wish we could of stayed longer :)

Ideal family spot

Lovely location for a week of Northern Michigan fun. Stayed at the Homestead with our adult children. Exceptional host, great communication, and everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the quiet of the farm in the evenings after traveling to all of our favorite sights in the UP and Northern lower Michigan. Can't say enough about how great this place is!

2 day stay on the farm

Lovely farm house, loved watching the deer play in the field across the road. Our grandchildren loved the house, lots of games books and toys to play with. Paula was a pleasure to deal with! Hope to return one day.
