3 Day/4 man/2 boat fishing trip. Everything was exceptional! House was just as advertised; spacious & clean. Check in process, communication with Host, was great! Beautiful, updated property with pluses that outweigh most of the few negatives. Contrary to the description, it doesn’t have a patio or balcony and it is not on a beach - but the dock on the lake is sizable. Nice fire pit area. Overall private and quiet- except for occasional loud train crossing warning blasts in the morning and afternoon. Filtered water faucet in kitchen but water in bathroom is orange and smells bad. Shower and toilet very stained as a result. The whole house could use a thorough dusting, washing of walls, cleaning out kitchen drawers and cabinets with attention to rare dirty utensils and deep cleaning of refrigerator (strong stale smell when we arrived). Maybe I’m too picky but for this price we have had “cleaner” VRBO experiences.

Great for a fishing weekend getaway

The property was as advertised and very pleasant to stay in. Enough room for four guys, and a good size kitchen and table for making dinners and playing games. We would highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed Our Time

My family and I enjoyed our time. It is a beautiful spot on the lake, with lots of frontage and two piers. Kayaks though listed were not accessible.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. The cabin is clean, spacious and super well equipped with everything you need to cook and relax. The dock space is excellent. We spent entire days lounging, floating, and swimming off the dock, kayaking and paddleboarding. We've rented many lake homes over the years and this is one of our favorites. Highly recommend.

Hello, myself and and a few college buddies were here last week. The place was as advertised and worked out very well for our group. The fishing was great until it turned cold on Thursday. But, board games killed the time perfectly. I would recommend the cabin for sure.

Great Location needs some work though

Location was nice. Cabin is a good size. Plenty of parking. 2 docks one with power. Seemed like we were the first people to stay here. The water is well and it needs new pipes in the cabin. The water stinks and stains everything. Towels all are stained which looks like dried blood and later if you do wash any light clothes will be stained as well. Air conditioning is window ac in rooms only. They are really loud. Washer and Dryer are Hotpoint which are cheap so they too are incredibly loud as well. The window AC units allow a lot of bugs inside the cabin. When we arrived the garbage cans were knocked over and trash was everywhere. We spent a good hour cleaning that up. Looked like it was like that for a while. Cans were already full as well and there was no information on garbage pick up. We set them by the road Wednesday and they were still not picked up when we left Friday. Replaced 3 light bulbs and had to clean the dryer lint trap which was like 2 inches thick with lint. Cabin is early 90s and shows. Overall it needs some work and cleaning. Good location but is not worth the price for the work we did and condition it is in currently.

Jackie and Carol were extremely helpful throughout the entire process, start to finish. Could not have asked for better hosts! The cabin and property were very clean and well maintained. The furniture and beds were quite comfortable. Very quiet, relaxing venue. When we returned from our meeting in the early evening, we took our boat and the fishing close by was excellent. Five stars all the way!!
