This is a beautiful, peaceful setting. The property was quiet and the house was very accommodating with plenty of room for the family to spread out and be comfortable. There was a vacuum sealer available and a chest freezer on the back deck for fish storage. The fishing was phenomenal! It's an easy run to town on K Beach road or Sterling highway. Overall it was an excellent place to stay and we won't hesitate to rent again. Thank you Warren for your help and hospitality.

First visit to Kasilof

Six of my family traveled to Kasilof to work on a cabin recently purchased in the area, do some fishing, and explore the peninsula. The rental was exceptionally clean and we were all very comfortable all week. It would be great if the area around the cabin was 'mowed' as there were 30 inch dandelions surrounding the house so there is no 'outdoor' space to utilize off of the deck; we also rented the home because it was advertised as waterfront property, and only learned the day before (with the check-in procedures email) that we were not allowed on the dock or down by the water. Despite some issues- Warren the host was amazing and responsive to our needs. He reached out consistently through the week to ensure we had what we needed. As the first rental of the season, there were several things that needed attention. There was no hot water the first two days, the advertised Traeger grill wasn't accessible immediately, then after we purchased pellets, it did not work reliably enough to use. When we used the washing machine, it leaked water throughout the laundry room. Most rental properties we've stayed in provide paper products such as paper towels, napkins, and a sufficient stash of toilet paper but we had to purchase what we needed- so heads up. When issues were mentioned, Warren responded very positively so I expect they may all be resolved by now. Overall- the cabin is gorgeous, immaculate, comfortable, and met our needs as we explored the peninsula!
