This private Kasilof riverfront property is located on the confluence of Kasilof River and Crooked Creek. The Creek portion is only open in August. This is one of if not the best spot on the Kasilof with easy river access. This is a fenced in property that has a very private feel to it since you will not see any other homes while you are enjoying your stay. The only things you will see are a few anglers trying their skills with fly rods as well as the occasional drift boat. No motors are allowed on the river while fishing for kings which makes the river extra special. Enjoy your time down on the river fishing ,on the deck enjoying the view or down by the fire pit. The sound of the flowing river will be heard wherever you choose. Also this property has a private boat launch that allows for some options. The house has a private master with bathroom as well as a large bedroom/loft with a full size and 2 single beds. Large stackable washer dryer are included. Grill is in the deck as well as having a comfortable living room though most people spend their time on the deck when not fishing. (House is approx. 1250sq ft)
Note: Please review Alaska fishing rules and regulations and abide by the fishing licensing and fish handling especially of any Steelhead or Dolly Varden Trout caught
Typical Salmon fishing season: Steelhead fishing early Spring (April) and late fall KIngs start May 15th Peak June 20th 2nd King run in July August Reds Start around middle of June. Silvers in August and September. Be aware that if you are planning on fishing in the river by the property the river depth and height changes drastically throughout the year and get deeper and has a faster current from July through October. This is due to the snowmelt at Tustemena Lake. There is always a great option next door in the Crooked Creek Stare Park that has excellent fishing platforms to also fish from.
It is tough to capture the uniqueness of this property on pictures but it is very special.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin had all the amenities that we needed. The location was great and we enjoyed sitting by the fire overlooking the river. We would definitely stay again.
Great experience on the Kasilof! Accessible yet secluded, easy access to river, great setup with fire pit and deck (with protection from the rain!) inside of cabin (kitchen, etc.) was great as well!
Nice house and property right on the river. Very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. If you like to fish and want quiet private get a way, this is your place.
We love this place. The uniqueness and location make it special. Has everything you need to have and awesome Alaskan vacation. Looking forward to another visit next year.
This property is amazing views, easy access to fishing and the furnishing are wonderful. This is our second time to visit and each time it takes our breath away. Rob has a very special spot that we are lucky that he shares.
Well kept very clean property with everything we needed. Absolutely amazing location, centrally located on the peninsula and right on the Kasilof River. We were able to fish for sockeye and kings right out back. Excellent communication with the property owner. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great property for any sort of getaway. We were here to fish - but this place is perfect for any sort of trip to the area. East access to the river, central location to soldotna/kenai/homer. Very clean and tidy, plenty of bedding and extra blankets and pillows. Fire pit is great for the 3 hour sunsets!!
The location of the property was great for taking advantage of the Kenai Peninsula activities (halibut and salmon fishing, touring the fjords, hiking). The house is great and the view from the property is beautiful. Rob was extremely easy to work with and responded to our questions almost immediately. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying on the Kenai Peninsula.
Great location - isolated against Crooked Creek Recreation Area. Everything you need. You can fish right from the property. Unfortunately we were between the red and silver runs, but it was a good location to work from and get up to the Kenai as well. Great Host - communicated well and constantly. Not sure you could ask for a better host and location.
Words cannot do justice for this awesome property. I cannot think of a single thing the host could do to improve this property. My family had the most memorable experience. The property was extremely clean, super well stocked, amazing River front access, comfortable beds - in short, a wonderful place to relax. We will be back again.
Amazing house on a hill overlooking the Kasilof River and Crooked Creek. House has pretty much any amenity you want for cooking. Nice deck with covered table to eat outside. Fire pit down near the river. The water was high so we fished Crooked Creek from the property and walked next door to Crooked River Recreation Park to fish the Kasilof. We hope to come back again.

Why they chose this property
This is an awesome property located on one of the best fishing spots on the Kasilof River. Choose to fish from a charter boat or wade on out in the river for your catch.
