Nice place that has preserved more of traditional Galveston feel rather than the ultra modern feel we sometimes get from new builds. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for 6. Excellent location in a homey feeling neighborhood. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend to anyone beaching it for a weekend or even wanting to explore more.

This was a great place to stay. Perfectly located for all adventures in Galveston. The house is furnished with basic things so you can come right from a flight and have all you need. The price was right. Booking, check in, and check out were easy. The only thing I'd complain about is that the bunk bed frames are terribly uncomfortable. We had to put the mattresses on the ground in order for the kids to be able to sleep.

Good place to stay

The place had everything we needed. We stayed for 30 days. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The price was reasonable.

Big fish

Overall, the stay was great. The bunkbeds had a bar in the middle of them, made it very uncomfortable.

Great Family Retreat

The house is cute and had plenty of space for us to stay comfortably. The street is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The property manager who came out, was awesome. My family and I appreciate her so much. The only drawbacks were the washer and dryer. The washer kept stopping in the middle of the cycle and the dryer sounded very loud. But other than that, we really loved staying here. Thank you so much.

WiFi sucks couldn’t work and I work from home. Only one tv in the whole house and there is no pool even though the online site says there is a pool

Upon arrival , we first noticed , the grass had not been cut in at least a month. Landscaping edging was out of the ground and hidden in the grass.One of our guests tripped , because it was not visible. Entering the house there was uneven floor. I have experienced this in other homes in Galveston, but they use caution tape to make it visible. Again, one of our guests tripped And got hurt because you could see the uneven floor. I would recommend Someone doing this in this house. The first room I had host because there were photos of a room with a small cot. I was told that was not in the house, but when I got to the house there indeed was an office. Where a twin size bed. There was some kind of exposed wiring behind the door of this room in the wall. The next bedroom was the master.The air vent and the ceiling had what might be mold around it, the sheets on the bed had stains.The shower curtain had what looked like a blood stain. We had instructions to keep a dehumidifier on and it should be in the living room, but there was not one.We later found a tiny one in a bedroom and used it. The Laundry room.The dryer door would not stay closed to dry clothes.The inside of the dryer was peeling the acrylic and came off in your clothing. The bedroom with the bunk beds. Had a 2 inch mattress, so we ended up having to stack the top mattress on the bottom. Just to be able to sleep. Somewhat comfortable. There's more I could write , but the review only allows so many words.

This home was NOT ready for guests!!

I have never left a negative review but at this point the owner, management and maintenance companies are not leaving me a choice. The apologies mean NOTHING when there is no attempt to correct the situation. I daily made the host, management and maintenance aware of things that were wrong or did not work yet no one bothered to attempt to fix or correct the issues. The voicemail stated to text for faster service yet no one ever responded! There was very little water pressure in the sink or showers. The washing machine did not work and we removed soaking wet clothes, we attempted to dry them but the dryer did not work, garbage disposal didn't and the sink would not drain. Only hot water in the kitchen sink. This caused scolding hot water that almost burnt one of our guests and we could not adequately clean dishes because we could not stand to have our hands in the water since it was so hot. Part of the back fence is missing and yard so overgrown we could not let our 7 year old play in the backyard. AC filter & vent was black. I haven't even mentioned the sorry excuse for mattresses in the bunk room or the lack of pillows in the bedrooms. They were so flat that you can't even call them pillows. This rental needs major work and repairs and many upgrades! The pictures in the listing seem to be photo shopped. Again, highly disappointed in the "customer service" or lack of. We spent over $700, asked for partial refund and they gave us $46.50. Do not book this rental!!
