A sunrise in paradise!

The property was perfect for what we looking for. Carla built a wonderfully unique place to relax with people over dinner and a pool with a great view. We look forward to staying there again and exploring more of Montezuma on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Great week here with the family. The house is older than it seemed from pics online but we were very comfortable here and it felt very much like home. You are in the jungle, so if you're squeamish about bugs, frogs, bats, or geckos, then this may not be for you. Also strongly recommend a car, preferably a 4x4. You're not far from anything but the hills are steep and the roads dark, windy and rocky (all normal for the area). Loved seeing the monkeys visit, the local eateries, and just sleeping in and lazying in the beautiful pool. The roof and second floor is great to sit and watch the night sky, and catch a few lightning storms. Carla is a pleasure to work with, easily reachable for questions, and recommendations. Would only recommend some updates to the cooking utensils and refresh the stocked spices. Added some unstaged vaca pics for some real life beauty of the house.
