Beautiful Deluxe Sonoma Retreat With Private Pool Spa Bocce & More! Sleeps 8+2
Your Home Base in the Heart of Wine Country
Imagine waking up to warm Sonoma sunshine, brewing a fresh cup of coffee from the well-stocked kitchen, and stepping outside to decide how you want to spend the day — poolside with a good book, or out exploring the valley's wineries and restaurants. That's the rhythm this home invites.
This newly remodeled four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath retreat sleeps up to ten and is designed for groups who want to truly live together, not just share a roof. The kitchen is stocked with the kind of quality you'd expect in a private home — J.A. Henckels knives, designer flatware, proper wine glasses, and everything you need to cook a real meal. And unlike most rentals, we leave behind the condiments, and pantry staples — so settle in and make yourself at home.
Upstairs, four bright bedrooms offer a master suite with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and private toilet room, alongside three queen rooms and a shared hall bath. On the main floor, a versatile fifth sleeping space with custom barn doors features a chaise lounge that converts to a full bed — perfect for a flexible group.
The backyard is where the magic happens. A sparkling pool, six-person hot tub, bocce ball court with a built-in drink rail, and a patio that seats twelve set the stage for long, lazy afternoons and evenings that stretch well past sunset. Fire up the propane grill, pour a local Pinot, and let the night unfold.
Inside, two plush couches face a 55" flat screen with surround sound. The speakers are Bluetooth-enabled, or plug directly into the audio jack — either way, your playlist sets the mood.
Situated just half a mile from the Sonoma Golf Course and half a mile from the Fairmont Mission Inn, and within fifteen minutes of more wineries and outstanding restaurants than you could visit in a week, the location is as good as it gets. This is a peaceful residential neighborhood — noticeably quieter than city life — while still being right in the heart of everything the valley has to offer.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa or Jac
With deep roots in the world's most celebrated wine regions, Jac's family hails from Bordeaux, France, while Lisa was born and raised in Sonoma Valley. After decades on the corporate career treadmill, we made the decision to trade it all in — relocating our young family to wine country to prioritize family, food, quality time, and of course, great wine.
Jac channels his creativity as the founder and manager of 46 art studios, while Lisa has built deep ties to the local nonprofit community and works closely with event organizers across the region — from weekly farmers markets and music series to seasonal festivals and community gatherings. We purchased this home in 2015 as a vacation rental and have loved every moment of welcoming travelers and introducing them to this spectacular region we proudly call home.
We are passionate about everything this valley has to offer and love sharing our deep local knowledge — from premier wineries and farm-to-table restaurants to farmers markets, road and mountain biking routes, hiking trails, beaches, and surf breaks. We stay current on the newest restaurants and community additions so our guests always have fresh, insider recommendations.
The Sonoma Valley is alive year-round with one-of-a-kind experiences: Broadway productions under the stars, traveling art shows, historic museums, rotating outdoor art installations, and live music across the valley. No matter when you visit, there is always something extraordinary happening just around the corner.
Why they chose this property
Location was everything when we chose this property, and it delivers on every front. Centrally positioned in the heart of Sonoma Valley, our home puts you within easy reach of world-class wineries, acclaimed restaurants, and boutique shopping — all while offering a peaceful retreat to come home to at the end of the day.
Just four miles away, the iconic Sonoma Plaza is a destination in its own right. With 36 tasting rooms, celebrated restaurants and bars, and an eclectic mix of merchants featuring handmade arts, local spirits, gourmet foods, jewelry, and artisan goods, an afternoon there never gets old. Steps from the house sits the Fairmont Mission Inn, one of the most breathtaking hotel properties in the region, with its spa and dining adding yet another layer of luxury to your stay.
Closer to home, you're within walking distance of local restaurants and one of the valley's most beloved late-night traditions — a lively food truck scene with 20-plus vendors serving up gourmet Mexican, noodles, burgers, and more. For those who love to explore on two wheels, dedicated biking paths connect the neighborhood directly to downtown. Need bikes delivered to the door? Just ask — we make it easy.
We fell in love with this property the moment we saw it. Four bright, sun-filled bedrooms and a beautiful outdoor space centered around a sparkling pool made it feel like the perfect place for families to truly unwind — and we knew others would feel the same.
What makes this property unique
In a valley full of beautiful vacation rentals, ours stands out for one simple reason: you get a premium experience without the premium price tag. We've thoughtfully appointed this home to match — and in many ways outshine — options that cost significantly more, making it one of the best values in Sonoma Valley.
What truly sets this property apart is its ability to bring people together. The home is designed with groups in mind — up to eight guests can sit down to a meal at the same table (inside) and outside the table seats 12 comfortably, spread out comfortably across the living spaces, and genuinely enjoy spending time under one roof. Whether you're gathering for a wine country celebration, a family reunion, or a friends' getaway, this home handles it all without anyone feeling squeezed.
Beyond the logistics, the house just feels good to be in. It's warm, charming, and comfortable in the way that a well-loved home should be — not a sterile rental, but a place that immediately puts you at ease. Natural light fills every room, the outdoor space invites you to slow down, and the details throughout reflect the care we've put into it over the years.
Combine that with our central location, our local knowledge, and a price point that leaves more room in your budget for wine and dining — and the choice becomes an easy one.
