About this property
Spacious 2 bedroom, sleeps 12, indoor hottub, beautiful location for Aurora!
Make yourself at home at this beautiful Fairbanks retreat. Just outside of town, it's perfect for Aurora viewing, but still only a 15 minute drive to anything you might need or want. The entire lower level is yours, including 2 private rooms, as well as a large open concept living space complete with a kitchenette, pull out beds, and even an indoor hot tub!
This lovely home offers 2 king beds, 1 queen pullout couch, 1 full futon bed, 1 bunk bed, as well as 1 trundle bed. Perfect for big families or groups. There are 2 bathrooms equipped with all the amenities, including laundry, a cedar walk in shower, and an indoor hottub with artificial aurora for ambiance. You'll feel pampered! A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay!
Please note that an all-wheel-drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended in the winter, no matter where you stay. However, in my opinion during the winter a 4WD or AWD vehicle is a MUST if you are staying outside of the city center. This way you will never be stuck waiting for weather or for roads to be plowed to continue your Alaskan adventure!

About the host
Hosted by Ashley Swibold

My name is Ashley, I was raised here in Fairbanks Alaska and this is where I'm proud to raise my family. My husband is a hunting guide and our life is always an adventure! We wouldn't have it any other way!
Why they chose this property
This home is located on a quiet 5 acres at the outskirts of town. A beautiful 10 minute drive to get away from town lights, makes for a much better chance of Aurora viewing!
What makes this property unique
When we bought this propeety we knew right away the lower level would be a PERFECT place for traveling guests. It's private entrance and spacious welcoming layout is exactly what we would want for ourselves while traveling. It's just far enough from town to give a good chance for Aurora viewing, but close enough to town that all the amenities are a quick drive away!
