Positives: The location is absolutely perfect and the property is as described in the pictures. Host communication in terms of check in process was great. New sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and wagon were awesome. Spacious rooms and fully stocked kitchen. Negatives: Many issues the host did nothing to resolve. The place was extremely dirty:lint everywhere, inside of microwave filthy, open bag of food in a cabinet making it smell awful, sheets kinda tossed on beds and one of the beds had sand in the sheets. Deck had spilled beer and there was a dead fish in the handle of the storage container on the deck (thank goodness we saw before our dog ate it). 2 of the 3 tvs (including main one in family room) didn’t work during our stay and 1 only worked the last day — when I told the host, they apparently knew about this but never told us. Hard to unpack clothes / feel at home because master bedroom has no dresser and there’s no towel racks except a single small one for 1 towel. Claim of “bay views from almost every window” fairly exaggerated as it’s hard to see the bay at all from the property (they really should take down the 1 big tree in front of the deck). When we expressed these concerns to host, they said “okay we’ll send someone out to clean”. We said “not right now please because we are out and our dog is there”. They never responded further to our issues. Summary: Great location & amenities but super disappointed at number of issues for spent.
