Make one-of-a-kind memories in the only dome home on beautiful Lake Sinclair. Modern renovations blend seamlessly into the eclectic charm of this home. Renovations abound with quartz kitchen countertops, beautiful ceramic wood tile throughout (no carpet), new paint and modern artwork. Enjoy lake views from the kitchen, large deck, sunroom and master bedroom. Dock your boat in our covered slip, enjoy swimming and fishing in our private cove, or relax on the covered dock by day. Cook in our well-equipped kitchen and enjoy the open concept experience.

The top floor has a high-dome shape ceiling with a fantastic open living room area with sleeper queen sofa with large deck overlooking the lake, an open-concept kitchen, half bathroom and the coffee porch on the front of the home.

On the first floor, enjoy the master bedroom which opens up to the sunroom that can be used as an extra sleeping area complete with 2 bunk beds and additional living area. The sunroom has 3 walls of windows overlooking the lake. The additional bedroom we call the tree house, because it has walls of windows overlooking bright greenery. There is a large, full bathroom on this floor with tub/shower combo. The large yard is completely fenced and shaded, perfect for children or pets.

Stay at The Dome

I rented the property for a vending event that I attend and really enjoyed my stay. The homes location offers privacy and a short commute to nearby restaurants and stores. The home also offered adequate space to comfortably sleep 8 guest. I would rent this property again for future trips!The host were also very responsive and accommodating to date and time changes that I needed for my trip, really appreciative .

We enjoyed our stay, caught fish right off the dock Saw a beautiful mature eagle, who swiped my beach towel. Since he was our American Bird I didn’t mind.

Had a blast!! but a little sketchy

had a lot of fun on the doc and porch although there were definitely a major cockroach issue as well as the cleanliness of the house was a little concerning. Although overall the interior was very pretty!

Very unique dome house & great host

Loved the great room on the top floor, super comfortable and relaxing, furniture was fabulous. The host reached out several times to be available for questions (we should have took them up, the downstairs heat was tricky for us during our fall visit). But the host did reach out letting us know they were available for any assistance. Loved the unique house and location and great fenced backyard leading to dock on lake. A repair is needed in main bath celing -the host indicated they would be repairing.

Dome Home Cuteness

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Dome Home on Lake Sinclair. What a nice renovation the owners have done on this unique house. It has a great location on the lake that is not only convenient, but also a lovely and quiet cove. The kitchen and home were stocked with all the Amenities you can think of - coffee pot, towels, etc. The bathroom has lots of counter space and the kitchen does as well. The den is comfortable and so are the bedrooms. The porch was nice to drink morning coffee and the dock was also a nice spot to sit and relax. It would be a great spot for fishing or a boat rental to park. We will defnitely be back!

Horrible place

Property had obviously not been taken care of. Debris was all in the yard. It was grown up in weeds and poison ivy. The dock was nasty and smelled horrible. House was a mess. Beds were not made. Dirty towels were on the floor and food was on the couch. I will never book this place again. Waiting on my money to be returned to me.

The property needs major cleaning. Mold in washer. Dishwasher had a bad smell. No air conditioning in room with bunk beds. Grass needed cutting. The place looked as if it hadn’t been taken care of or stayed in for a long time. I would not recommend this place until some repairs are made and they have someone do a very deep cleaning. Also needs to be sprayed for roaches and ants.

Could have been better.

I never received arrival instructions to get into the house. I called the host and called VRBO and no one could get in contact with the host. Luckily a door was left unlocked for us to get inside. The bottom floor had ants crawling all over it. There was trash and dirt under the beds and couches. The location was great and the dock was perfect. Overall the house was good, but the communication with the host was very poor. It was very nerve wracking to arrive at a house you paid for for the weekend and not be able to get inside and the host won't answer your calls or texts.

Cool house

The dome house is a neat stay just for the style alone. The acoustics in the living/kitchen area are very cool. Some parts you can hear someone whispering from across the room. The cleanliness leavs a lot to be desired. The sink/dishwasher has a foul smell coming out of them. You can't open the dishwasher or some of the cabinets all the way due to the oven door. Some of the drawers and cabinets under the kitchen counter are just set in and not on rollers. 2 of the dining room chairs were broken. One of the seats cushions completely falls off, exposing nails. The other has a piece of wood that comes off of the back rest when barely touched. The floors were dirty and window sills had cobwebs. Found a live roach on the top bunk in the sunroom which scared the heck out of my daughter. The boat dock is nice and we ended up catching some catfish. Whole property could use more care/upkeep.
