Renting 5-7 nights Between Saturday and Saturday (Exceptions see below). Best pricing on 7 day reservations, request a quote. Bay Watch Resort is located right along the beach for spectacular ocean views right from our 8th floor balcony. Our condo is unit #821 located in the center building for easy access to the Conference Center and resort restaurant. Our spacious condo is fully furnished for your comfort. 40" flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player in the living room and 32" flat screen TV in each bedroom. Sleeper sofa and dining table for 6 or more. For dinning in, numerous pot and pans and counter grill for quick simple meals. Take in the scenery from the balcony or enjoy the relaxation of numerous water amenities. Two indoor pools, three outdoor pools, four kiddie pools and seven relaxing whirlpools. Take a lackadaisical ride in the meandering lazy river to release the stress of everyday life. Stay fit running on the beach or in the onsite fitness center while the kids have fun in the game room. With easy access to loads of attractions and restaurants you are sure to keeps your days filled with many wonderful activities.

Keyless entry. Simple to use and so convenient, no checking in at front desk, no lock outs forgetting key cards inside. Parking passes for 2 vehicles maximum with a max vehicle height of 6' 6" and pool bracelets waiting in the condo. Smoking is NOT allowed in the unit or on the balcony.

(Exceptions: We are open to different start days and stay lengths during peak season, Mon-Fri for example or 12-14 days. Exceptions are not supported by calendar settings and must be negotiated prior to booking request.)

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Lock the doors

Clean refrigerator, leave no food or drink in it. Empty all garbage into outside cans near elevators. Doing so will help us avoid odor and other issues if there is a break in rental activity.

Clean stove, range & grill, counter tops, sinks and appliances. Wipe all surfaces so that they are free of grease and food. At departure place used linens and towels on the floor or counter tops.

Clean and leave pool bands on the dining table.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

NO PROXY RENTALS. People other than those in the “Guest” party may not stay overnight in the property.

No Smoking in the unit, on the balcony or in public spaces on the grounds of the Resort.

Departure: Clean & empty refrigerator. Empty all trash into outside cans. Wipe all surfaces so that they are free of grease and food.

Plenty of beach gear in the closet was a delightful find, loved the balcony view. We had a small issue with an appliance and the owner was very responsive to our concerns. We had a great time and felt like we were at home this delightful condo.

Vrbo at Baywatch not so good!

The Baywatch has nice pools that are warm but were often diry there was a lit of people in them! The room needs so many updates the furniture is old and worn the tub was so gross my husband had to clean it before we could use it! The floors had food caked on them in the kitchen!

Great views and lots of amenities!

We enjoyed our stay and found the apartment comfortable and clean. The location and views from the living room and bedroom balcony were fantastic! My daughter loved all of the pools, hot tubs, and the lazy river. Kitchen has all the equipment you need for vacation cooking and it was convenient to have basics like soap, tp, cleaners, and dishwasher tabs on hand. We were trying to have a COVID-safe trip and appreciated the Reme air cleaner, open-air hallway leading up to unit, 1 party per elevator ride, and masks in lobby. Beach toys, books, videos, and games on hand. Easy parking. The dryer was broken, which was inconvenient for our two-week stay, but Steve tried to have it fixed while we were there. This was a very comfortable and family friendly place to stay!

Resort was great, unit needed repairs

Property and room very clean, the unit was dated. Sofa old and dirty. Washer broken and was never fixed. 6 plates and 6 forks for eight guest. Had to go buy frying pan and pot to cook. Dishwasher broken so was the garbage disposal. Check in was easy and streamline. Numerous repairs were needed.

I am sorry condo was having issues with equipment. The year old washer required numerous service calls but has been repaired. Disposal was stuck for some reason and a guest was able get it working again which wasted a service call. Dishwasher has been replaced. Normally kitchen utensils are fully stocked. Replacements will be made. We apologize for the equipment issues during your stay.

Low Expectations

We’ve vacationed our entire lives in MB, but I think this is the first time my family all agreed that we wouldn’t be returning to this property. The hotel itself isn’t clean and that was only met with further disappointment of the condo not being as clean either, that was evident in the large cockroach we killed on day 3. Sadly when vacationing you want an EXPERIENCE, we however felt like we had booked a janky motel because the condo looks like it hasn’t been updated or cared for since the late 80’s. This definitely isn’t somewhere I would recommend to my family and friends until serious upgrades are made at both the “resort” and condo.

I appreciate your feedback regarding your stay at the condo in North Myrtle Beach. I strive diligently for the best relaxing and comfortable stay. Please realize, we are an independently owned and operated entity within the Bay Watch Resort. Therefore, although out of our direct control, the owners, the HOA and management all strive to maintain the Resort to the best condition possible. As with the rest of the country, the pandemic has caused interruptions on many levels and I believe these will be corrected as the Resort continues to make improvements and our lives return to normal. One of our top priorities is the cleanliness of the unit. Being in a high traffic area directly on the beach with balcony doors constantly being opened leaves many opportunities of wayward insects to enter the unit. I apologize for this happening to you, however, this is a natural occurrence in the southern states or any area around the ocean, it is not an indication of uncleanliness. I believe the advertised photos and pricing are indicative of the value of the unit and I do not believe “janky motel” is a reasonable characterization, but far from it. I will keep your comments in mind as I move forward during these difficult times. For viewers of this review, the structure in which the unit is located was built in 2003 and has had a number of updates along the way.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Perfection <3 Condo is well maintained, spacious, and has everything you could possibly need except groceries if you are one that likes to eat in like we are. We only ate out twice our whole entire stay. It was great. Had more than plenty of room for our family of 5. The view from the balcony is beyond awesome as well as spacious with a total of 8 chairs. The center tower has 4 elevators which is nice, for those impatient times that you can't wait to hit the ocean or get back up to your room for lunch. Steve was always prompt in answering any questions prior to our stay. I did not have to contact him during our stay but I'm confident that he would have taken care of any issues that arose. Baywatch property has tons of amenities and has become our go to place and now I believe we have a new favorite go to condo. Thanks Steve for sharing your condo with us. We are already ready to go back. :]

July vacation

Property seemed a little rundown. Door lock was complicated, front door was rusty and in need of paint. The listing stated that there were two queen beds in each room, both rooms had double beds. Guest bedroom closet was so full of beach items there was no room to hang clothes. Found discarded press on fingernails on floor Floor of and in living area. stains on bedspreads. Appeared to be some sort of stain, perhaps a blood stain, on shower curtain. The jetted tub in the master bath difficult to access for people with mobility issues. Check-in was a mess, understandably it was busy on a weekend, but there were not enough luggage carts to go around and front desk Staff didn’t seem to have a clue as to where they might be or offered to help find any. Probably will not stay at this location again. building appears to be located in a very busy and noisy part of North Myrtle Beach, the beach was very crowded and noisy. garage was very tight and hard to navigate. Garage was also extremely dirty. ice machine on our floor was out of order and inoperable and another guest commented that the same machine had been broken down since last year.

Really nice stay

The unit was just as posted. the floors could have been a little cleaner. The bay watch building needs way more luggage carts....had to hand carry all our luggage up. Same at check out; not enough carts. the elevators at check in and check out are over crowded and you have a wait a long time to get an elevator, but once you survive check in, then from there its smooth sailing. This is the second time we have stayed at Bay Watch and both times the building has a super long line to check in, can't get a luggage cart, or use an elevator. this time around we were less overwhelmed with it all, just knew this was part of the process. Not the units fault at all. We had more towels and linens that we needed which was great. Overall would definitely stay here again in this unit.
