Tucked Away Right In The Center Of It All, Private, Pristine, Adorable.

The Bungalow is located just off Mount Desert Street as you turn into the small side street called Temple. It's between the Village Green and Cafe This Way. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and one full size futon which can sleep two, a lovely enclosed patio and a separate Washer/Dryer room. The Bungalow is Ideal for a single person or a couple with small children. Fully renovated in 2014.

Lovely bungalow in the heart of Bar Harbor! Our host was so sweet and welcoming. Location can't be beat, so close to all the shops and restaurants as well as Acadia. Super cute space including a delightful patio, perfect for the two of us and our two pups!

This is a very comfortable, well maintained, and well supplied place to stay. Ideal location on the green, steps from a huge selection of restaurants and shops, as well as Island Express bus line. The host couldn’t have been better. Definitely would stay there again.

This lodging was delightful. Great location in the center of Bar Harbor, only minutes from Acadia National Park. Walk to the Harbor walkway, local parks, and restaurants. Wonderful for our dog, who was welcome almost everywhere in the Town and had the Town Green right across the street. To top it off, our host left us a very nice welcome basket. We would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect place to stay to be close to everything. It’s clean and quiet and perfect for one or two people and their pet! Ann is a lovely host and leaves a nice welcome basket and makes sure the pets are taken care of too with bedding and treats. Thank you for another great stay Ann!

Great stay in cute cottage

Ann’s place is ideal! Right in the heart of Bar Harbor next to the Village Green and all of the best restaurants. It has a bedroom with large closets, and a living / kitchen area that was perfectly comfortable for us and our 2 dogs. Thanks and looking forward to seeing you next summer!

Lovely place right in Bar Harbor

We stayed in early October 2024. The place was very clean and tidy, and perfectly suited our needs. The location is perfect, right in downtown Bar Harbor near lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay!

A Gem in Bar Harbor!

A lovely bungalow in a great location

We had an amazing stay at this property. The bungalow itself is a nice size with good enough amenities, but the location can't be beat. Right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor and an 8 minute drive from Acadia National Park, you won't find a better spot to stay to experience all the area has to offer.

Perfect Place To Stay In Bar Harbor

We were in Bar Harbor for a wedding. We stayed for a week and this was the perfect place. Located in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor, everything was in walking distance! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Second Stay at this wonderful location

We love this place.. and Ann! Much like our first stay we enjoyed this time just as much. Ann is great and helpful if ever needed. I highly recommend and will return again!

After living in NYC for what must have been ever, I finally retired to this amazing place in 2001. And what a good decision that turned out to be. I love living in Bar Harbor year round, hiking, biking, skiing, going to Reel Pizza across the street for my bi-weekly movie fix, and sometimes I even have one of their delicious pizzas.

Why they chose this property

When I visited Bar Harbor in l976 the good Doctor Cameron offered me his house and office for sale. He was no longer doctoring and I fell in love with this old rambling, interconnected piece of property. I would come up here from NYC and garden on long weekends and vacations. Planting trees, flowers, bushes. But all too soon it was time to go back to my day job and I had to put everything away for the next time. Which was never soon enough. During these infrequent visits I also started the many renovations I've done to the property. It was a treasure throve of improvement possibilities, work I love. I am the most happy when I can wear my ratty old work clothes and get my hands really dirty.

What makes this property unique

Within walking distance to everything, yet nicely tucked away from the madding crowd. Not that there's much of a crowd in the winter. Perfect for summer vacations, and that's when you really need your very own parking space and a bit of breathing room to enjoy all that Bar Harbor has to offer.
