Camp Moonshadows is a magnificent 5 bedroom and 5.5 bath vacation rental in Lake Placid, NY with lovely Adirondack accents and decor throughout, large enough to host groups of up to 12 people.

Visitors step into a large foyer area with seating and then enter an inviting and spacious open living area. The center attraction for this great rental is a grand stone fireplace with a gas insert and a wall of windows that allow for lots of natural light while facing gorgeous lake and mountain views. There is a formal dining table along with an additional table for more seating or for use as a puzzles/games site and the kitchen with skylight, breakfast bar and top of the line appliances will delight any culinary expert! The upper level boasts a lovely loft with futon and chair that overlooks the open living area along with the spacious primary suite, 2 more of the bedrooms and the office/den offers additional quiet space with desk, couch and TV. The lower level holds 2 more bedrooms, a large bonus game room, lots of seating, TV, ping pong table, games and walks out to the patio.

Step out from the kitchen into a roomy screened porch that holds a 2nd stone fireplace, grill, table and lots of seating for dining outdoors in any weather!  The open deck area that spans the length of the front of the house is perfect for doing a little sun bathing or just relaxing with a good book and taking in the fresh Adirondack air.

This great rental is adjacent to and within walking distance to fine dining at the Lake Placid Lodge and Resort along with golf, tennis and more. Hiking trails are also available within walking distance and the center of Lake Placid Village is only a few minutes drive away with historic theater building, lots of dining options, shopping, the Olympic Arenas and access to both Lake Placid for boating and Mirror Lake for public swimming. Camp Moonshadows at the Whiteface Club & Resort offers a Maximum of 5 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.
