This is our 2nd visit and we really appreciated knowing the neighborhood and it was a great jump start to our trip. Check in was smooth, our host was always there if we had a question. The apartment is quiet, well appointed and minutes from the Q and The 6… so you can get anywhere, quickly. Butterfield market and Whole Foods are just a few blocks away. We’d happily say here again.
Jay was an excellent host. He greeted us when we arrived and explained everything. The apt was cosy and the only issue we had was only one working outlet. That didn't really effect anything and we would absolutely stay here again.
Host is awesome. Neighborhood is safe and lots of restaurants. Basic amenities. If you run hot the bedroom doesn’t have ac but lr keeps things cool. Would use again.
This apt was perfect for our stay, a lovely homebase and everything we needed for the trip. J was very responsive. There are about 4 steps with handrails down to the entry, and the space is otherwise great for folks with some limited mobility. The elevator & laundry were extremely helpful. We’ll definitely return
The host, Jay, met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The apartment is comfortable and a half block from an amazing market as well as very good restaurants.
Great place to stay for a quick visit to NYC. Jay was a terrific host and easy to communicate with. He also provided suggestions about the area. It is an excellent location.
We had a great 4-night stay at Jay's place. It is a classic Manhattan apt - cozy, creaky floors, wildly fluctuating hot water, and uncontrollable radiator heat but that's all part of the experience. Everything was very clean and comfortable and we'd stay there again.
Jay was personable, responsible, and a great communicator. For the price and the neighborhood, a great deal. You aren't gonna cook any elaborate meals in the kitchen, but that's NYC. The property is actually a couple blocks east of where listed, further from Park Ave but closer to subway lines
This is not a "Central Park" apt - it's much further east - between 2nd and 1st avenues, so many long blocks from Central Park. But the apartment is as described. A humble NYC apartment that could use a paint job and has signs of wear, but the owner did a good job making it neat and clean and it suited my purposes for the short trip I made.
Jay is a great host. He personally checked us in and it was a fast/smooth process. The condo is clean and well equipped. The photos and description are accurate. Location wise it is perfect. Close to a great grocery store, many restaurants and a few blocks from the subway station. We had a great stay and would stay here again.
