Villa Kali Thea is a modern, beautifully maintained family villa with stunning mountain and sea views. It is located in a fantastic rural location next to a national park and a number of superb beaches. It has been individually designed and built by one of the best architects on Naxos and provides modern, light and airy accommodation sleeping 4/5 + a cot. The villa is our family holiday home and therefore we have thoughtfully furnished and equipped it for our own needs as well as that of our guests to provide a real 'home from home'. There are 2 ground floor bedrooms, 1 has a king-sized bed and spacious en-suite shower room, the other has twin beds. Both have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, built-in wardrobes/drawers and patio doors opening onto a terrace with ample space to sit or sunbathe. The upstairs open plan kitchen/dining/living area is a light, airy space with stunning mountain and sea views and a large balcony terrace. There is also a lower covered terrace and garden.


Our Local Agent: The rental rates include the following services of our local agent, an English lady who has lived on Naxos for many years. For a relaxing start to your holiday she can meet you at the port or airport on your arrival. She can help transfer you directly to the villa or, if you are hiring a car, she can help with the transfer of your luggage and accompany you to the villa. She will then familiarise you with the property and the surrounding area and act as an emergency contact for the duration of your stay. We can provide good maps / directions for independent travellers. Our agent can also help with the pre-booking of a hire car.

Absolutely Loved It!
The house is beautiful, great views and lovely places to sit and eat inside and out. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, so we were able to cook what we liked whenever we needed to. The kids (2 boys, 8 & 4) were kept busy for 10 days with all the puzzles, DVDs and games provided, which was great and kept them off the iPad ! The owners and Julie (who is the local lady who meets you at the airport) couldn’t have been nicer, she even took us to see some puppies and the kids were allowed to visit them whenever they liked- so they were thrilled! The house is near the best beaches on Naxos and with a car you can get to countless (empty in October!) yellow sand beaches. We found a link on Google to a Telegraph article with reviews of the best restaurants in Naxos, we visited quite a few and the food was outstanding, we had great adventures trying to find them as well! Highly recommend- one of the best places we’ve been! :)

Our family had a lovely stay here and Graham and Sarah provided all the information we needed and Julie really helped with all the rest, thank you to everyone who made our stay so great. We had a small problem with one of the beds but Graham and Srah were very helpful and accomodating which was much appreciated. I heartily recommend this place to stay in Naxos.

Lovely house and beautiful surroundings!
The house is absolutely gorgeous. This lovely white greek house has basically everything you need to enjoy your holiday in the Naxos countryside. We felt at home the moment we stepped foot on the property. It has two lovely and spacious bedrooms, both of them above average when it comes to comfort. There are two bathrooms as well. The kitchen has all amenities you need. The house has great standard, it is well-preserved and very clean. The house is situated in a quiet area surrounded by similar villas and meadows where we could spot cows and goats. In the area there are a lot of colourful flowers and olive trees, and there is a staircase leading up to the terrace on the 2nd floor. The terrace is spacious, giving you the opportunity to eat and relax. Sitting there in the evenings watching the sunset and looking at the sea was one of the highlights during the stay. There is a great taverna and beautiful beaches in walking distance. We highly recommend this house and its surroundings, because it is balsam to your soul and body. You will feel better in every way after visiting this place. We will be back!

Wonderful family villa close to beach and Taverna
This lovely villa was perfected located and equipped for a relaxing island holiday. Everything about staying here was made easy from the booking, arriving, staying, leaving to deposit return. Both Sarah (owner) and Barbara (Island rep) was very communicative and helpful and took all the stress away of planning a trip away with a young child. The villa was a joy to stay in and had everything you needed to enjoy the stay there. Little things like extra adaptors for night lights, walking maps and guide books. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. It was nice being an upside down layout so you could enjoy the terrace and views from the upstairs lounge and patio while little one was in bed downstairs. The beaches close by were amazing and so quiet while we were there. Easy access and gorgeous clear water. The Taverna v close by had very tasty local food and they let us use their pool for free. The location of the villa made it very easy to drive up into the mountains for walking and biking and exploring so lots to do if you didn't feel like sitting around the whole time. Really handy that there was a market close by but it was very expensive so we would recommend stocking up in the main town before heading to the villa. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it to other people looking to stay on this lovely Greek island.

Exactly as advertised
The villa was exactly what we expected, all the equipment you could need (IF youwanted to stay in and cook) and in a very quiet agricultural area. One taverna was very close by and three others within walking distance if you like walking, which was a great way to walk off the calories from our meals. Lovely beaches all round. It was unexpectedly hot on our first week so I appreciated the shaded terrace downstairs to cool off while my husband roasted upstairs in the sun. Would definitely go back again.

A lovely villa on a lovely island
We spent a week at Villa Kali Thea. The villa was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Barbara, who looks after it, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island.Nothing was too much trouble. The owners arranged car hire for us which was waiting at the airport when we arrived. The weather was very good and the island was quiet which we prefer. We explored all over and saw some spectacular scenery, there are lovely beaches nearby. There are excellent restaurants within easy distance. The balcony was great for breakfast, sitting in the sun or watching the sunset. We certainly hope to return in the near future.

Perfect Place at Nxos

Lovely house, perfect location for quiet vacation
Our stay was absolutely perfect from day one, the owner's agent having booked a car which was waiting for us at the port. Every detail was explained to us and we were given all the necessary information about good tavernas and stores around. The house is lovely, very well maintained, and is exactly as described in the listing. It is very well equipped (from barbecue to beach towels), and within walking distance to beautiful sand beaches. Only negative point : our stay was too short! We surely would recommend the villa and would love to go back there for a longer period!

Best holidays in my life
First of all, I was so pleased with my stay at villa kali thea in 2013 that I booked again in 2014. Very well furnished home ideally located 20 mn from plaka (white sandy beach with azur crystaline water) and 5 mn from aliko beach (ideal for snorkling). House is in perfect shape. No surprise with website pictures. Very convenient for family with kids. A/C in both bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood. Supermarket within 5mn driving range. Local contacts Barbara and Tony are very helpful.

Hidden Gem
This year marked our third return to the Villa Kali Thea, and like a good wine it only gets better with time. We are a family with small children and love everything about the house, the location, the view, the amenities and the access to the best beaches and restaurants on the island, in our opinion. Sarah, the owner, is very helpful with anything needed and we always find it hard to leave when the time comes. Naxos offers many opportunities to relax and Villa Kali Thea enhances this feeling of absolute peace. Thank you Sarah for all and we will certainly be returning next year.

Lovely villa
Beautiful family villa , very clean and very well maintained. Only 10 min. to best beaches of Naxos. Two good tavernas with swimmigpool are only 5 min walk or by car. Great service from the owners (Graham and Sarah) and their local contacts , always on time and very friendly .I want to recommend this villa and when we came in Naxos in the future we try to stay in Villa Kalithea again . Modern villa in a quiet neighbourhood
There was sufficient information from the owner and contact by e-mail in advance. They also took care of the pick-up and meeting point at the airport as a matter of course. They also managed the collection of our rental car, even though we had booked it ourselves. As a result, we were warmly welcomed at the airport in Naxos by the local contact person and while one person took care of the baggage, the other person was able to pick up the rental car and clarify everything with the car rental office. We were shown the villa and everything important was clarified. With a wealth of tips and information, the villa was then ours for the next few weeks. We have rarely experienced such an efficient start. The villa is located in a small area of holiday homes at the back and so far away from the road that you can't hear a thing. There are still a few houses nearby but at a good distance, behind the villa is a field and from the terrace on the upper floor you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the sea. On a clear day, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the stars at night. And of course you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning - wonderful. The villa is modern and is kept in excellent condition. Everything is functional and very clean. The weekly cleaning also includes freshly made beds, towel change and a basic cleaning of the house - very pleasant. Full points for the hard-working cleaning lady for this too. We spent two wonderful weeks - Thank you!

Lovely Alyko Villa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful beaches a walk away and gorgeous mountains nearby. The house could not have been more comfortable with all the amenities we could need. Excellent restaurants nearby too. The double rainbow from the terrace one morning was an additional lovely bonus! We’d love to visit again!

Wonderful vacation
We love the wind and waves on Naxos! The lovely house has sea views and terraces for sun and shade. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped to cook meals and the nearby restaurants serve delicious food. Several beaches are within walking distance: one through the dunes and there you are! You can walk along the water's edge in one direction to reach other beautiful spots. In the opposite direction, you walk between dunes and gentle rocky slopes to come to more pristine beaches and coves. Julie was our helpful and friendly contact person. We hope to return!

Beautiful Relaxing Stay
Came here for 8 days with our kids who 2 and 6 months. We loved the home, both the indoor and outdoor spaces. It was easy to cook at home and eat out. We didn’t venture far but were positively thrilled at our endless beach days and beautiful surroundings. It was the ideal recharge for a holiday and we would absolutely come back.

Peaceful, idyllic stay
This house was so peaceful and beautiful! Walking distance to a nearly empty beach with turquoise water and soft sand. The house itself is airy and light, and has so many areas for relaxing and enjoying the view of the mountains, the sea, and the local villas. Several awesome restaurants nearby. Both Julie and Jackie were so helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be back.

Vi var veldig fornøyde. Men et par tilakemeldinger for å gjøre det enda bedre. Internett/wi-fi var veldig ustabilt og vanskelig å bruke, så det kunne vært bedre. På kjøkken var det litt for lite glass, kopper og asjetter, vi var fire og for å slippe å vaske hele tiden burde det i hvert fall være dobbelt opp av dette.

We are an English couple who loved travelling for many years including hopping around the Greek Islands. However we continually found that we kept wanting to return to beautiful Naxos year on year hence our decision when our family came along to build our own Villa.

Why they chose this property

We have been travelling to Naxos for many years and loved the beaches and friendliness of the Naxian people. As we started our own family we decided to buy a plot of land and build our own Villa. By doing so we have been able to develop a property that is just perfect for us and indeed for our guests. It provides the perfect family home in the beautiful surroundings of the stunning Greek islands!

What makes this property unique

We have built the property to take advantage of the fantastic views to the local beaches and across the Aegean towards Santorini, Ios, Paros and the other local Cycladic Islands. Whilst in a small development of Villas the property retains its privacy and is safe for families to enjoy the local countryside.
