The owner, John, is an exceptional host and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is so convenient to Downtown Seneca restaurants and grocers. We would recommend this home as a fair value.
We stayed here when we dropped our daughter off at Clemson and it was perfect for our family of four and pup. Super clean and walking distance to cute downtown with nice restaurants and shops. Host was very helpful and accommodating.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that our place was perfect for your family and pup during your stay. The location really is ideal for exploring the charming downtown area with its great restaurants and shops, and we're glad you enjoyed it. We always strive to be as helpful and accommodating as possible, and I'm glad that made a difference in your stay. Congrats to your daughter on going to Clemson—we’d love to host you again whenever you're in the area!
We had a great stay at the bungalow while visiting the area. We had 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed the backyard and we enjoyed hanging with them on the outdoor patio while watching the tv. There were so many attentions to detail, like a robust coffee selection with all kinds of fun flavors, to the games for adults and kids, to excellent communication assuring all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend a stay here.
We had a great time in Seneca/Clemson. The home is so cute and clean, we had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the area was peaceful and convenient to everything we needed. Check In, check out and communication with the host very easy! I highly recommend staying here! Thank you again!
Lovely location and house. Perfect for our weekend visiting Clemson and going to the game. Extra bonus that we could walk to the brewery and restaurants in cute little Seneca.

Ali, thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that the location worked perfectly for your Clemson visit and that you enjoyed exploring Seneca. We’d love to host you again for your next game weekend or any other getaway!
This was the perfect house for our trip to Clemson! The house was equipped with everything we needed and communication with the host was extremely timely and efficient. Our two dogs enjoyed playing in the backyard, and lounging on the front porch in the sun. Our only regret is that we had not discovered this house before now!
Great property. Clean, walking distance to restaurants and bars. It had a perfect fenced in backyard for our dog and a nice covered patio for outdoor space. Close to Clemson for visiting our CU students and catching a basketball game.

My family stayed here to have quick access to a boat rental at Lake Keowee marina and to the restaurants and brewery in downtown Seneca. The house has been fully updated but hasn't lost its old school charm. John was very responsive and helpful to make check in and out smooth. Really appreciate him making us feel welcome!

Joey, thank you for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the charm and updates of our home. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. Hope to see you again soon when you get back out on the lake!
The bungalow was a perfect place for our family to spread out during Clemson family weekend. The Seneca location was a nice escape after a long game day on campus. Our college daughter even spent the night with us for a night and used one of the rooms to get a good night's sleep. The desk in the bedroom came in handy while she studied for an upcoming exam. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch, and the patio was a nice place to eat a meal. The bungalow was well appointed and updated. Very cozy and it had everything we needed and even some welcome gifts that were much appreciated.

It’s always our goal to provide a cozy and welcoming space, so we're happy to know you felt right at home and appreciated the special touches. We hope to host you again for future stays!
I have family in and around Seneca so often stay in the area. This is my absolute favorite rental and first choice any time it is available.
It has the perfect balance of everything. Old cottage charm with all the modern updates. Everything you need but not lots of clutter like some. Very quiet and peaceful yet just a few steps to great food and all Seneca has to offer. Lakes, parks, trails and fun places to visit in every direction so a great central location.
Our favorite is the fenced yard that is wooded in the back. Great to play ball with the dog, grill out, or watch the fireflies at night.
John is a great host and his communication makes the whole process seamless.

Julie, thank you for the kind words! We're delighted our rental is your top choice in Seneca. It's great to hear you enjoy the blend of charm and modern updates, the peaceful setting, and the fenced yard. Looking forward to your next stay!
We booked this bungalow for our family to attend our granddaughter’s graduation from Clemson. The location was ideal—just a short drive to and from Clemson for the ceremony and other festivities—and great for walking to downtown Seneca to restaurants and shops. The owners were so kind and left us a wonderful bottle of wine to celebrate with! The bungalow had ample room for the 6 of us to sleep, eat, and watch TV comfortably. We enjoyed some time on the front porch and a brief stay in the backyard before thunder drove us in. It was equipped with everything we needed to prepare some food for a brunch we had for our granddaughter and one of her roommates and her family. We enjoyed the ambience of the electric fire on a cool and gloomy evening, and got great pictures of my granddaughters in front of the beautiful wall mural in the living room. We are hoping our grandson will also be attending Clemson in another year and we’ll be able to celebrate another graduation in this bungalow!
Our daughter goes to Clemson so we drove from Charlotte area and met our family/friends that drove down from Michigan. I was a bit worried about the size since we had 6 adults and 1 teen but we had plenty of space! My husband & I stayed in the bedroom with a full and bunk bed (which has stairs leading to the top bunk along with storage). The other 2 couples stayed in the other 2 rooms. Friday we walked the short distance to downtown Seneca for dinner/drinks. The downtown is very cute & had their holiday lights up already! Saturday we drove into Clemson which is an easy 10-15 min drive (depending on traffic). Easy commute. The hosts communicated promptly. The house itself is a 1940s home completely renovated, with a large fenced backyard and new patio. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Thanks for sharing your home John & Val!

Hi! I’m John, originally from Michigan, but now happily settled in Seneca, SC. I love golf and spend my free time either on the golf course, enjoying a day on the lake, or exploring the mountains with my family. We moved here to escape the snowy winters and embrace the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful area. Hosting allows me to share the amazing experiences Seneca offers, from its stunning landscapes to its friendly community. I’m always eager to provide tips on the best golf courses, lake spots, and mountain trails to make your stay unforgettable.
Why they chose this property
We chose downtown Seneca, SC, for its unique charm and vibrant community atmosphere. This neighborhood offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities, making it an ideal place for both relaxation and exploration.
Nestled in the heart of Seneca, our neighborhood is just a stone’s throw from the historic Ram Cat Alley. This iconic street is lined with boutiques, cafes, and local restaurants, offering a delightful mix of shopping and dining options. The architecture here reflects the town’s rich history, with beautifully preserved buildings that add a nostalgic charm to the area.
One of the highlights of our location is the proximity to Ram Cat Alley, which comes alive with local culture and community events. From March to October, the “Jazz on the Alley” event is a must-experience. Every Thursday evening, the street fills with the lively sounds of jazz, where locals and visitors gather to dance, enjoy food, and socialize under the stars.
The neighborhood is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee are nearby, providing stunning settings for boating, fishing, and swimming. The surrounding area is dotted with hiking trails that lead to breathtaking waterfalls and scenic vistas, perfect for those looking to connect with nature.
What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is the sense of community and hospitality. The local shops and restaurants are often family-owned, and the owners take pride in their work, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There’s always something happening, community festivals, making it easy to feel a part of this vibrant town.
Overall, downtown Seneca offers a perfect mix of small-town charm, outdoor adventure, and cultural experiences, making it an ideal place to stay and explore.

With three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and space to sleep up to eight guests, it’s designed to feel both spacious and homey.
