It has an updated eat-in kitchen, large separate dining room, spacious living room with flat screen tv, 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths. Wifi is included. Some additional notes:
1) Off street parking is available upon request. There is free street parking in the neighborhood that may be challenging to find during the busier summer months. 2) Our units sleep 6 in beds and up to 8 with an air mattress that we supply. 3) Because of increasing costs, we have an additional per person charge or guests that exceed 5 people. We do this because of the rising costs of laundry, utilities and general wear and tear.
We look forward to you booking with us and thank you for your time in considering our property for your stay!

We (four adults, one toddler) really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment has all the amenities you need, and the layout is lovely (particularly the very sunny living room). The neighbourhood is fantastic, and it’s quick and easy to walk to either the beach (about 5mins) or downtown Portland (15 mins). For parents of toddlers/young children, there are lots of well-equipped playgrounds and parks nearby. Nick (the host) was quick and easy to get in touch with and was really nice. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
Perfect location for a couples getaway - walkable to everything, easy to access and very spacious. The place was clean and tidy. Arranging for off-street parking at the last minute was easy and painless. There aren't any "accoutrements" (like coffee, milk, etc.) as was listed in the posting, but most places don't have those things anyway. I would definitely stay here again!
This was an excellent choice for us. We were close to the downtown area and the trails for running. Easy to get around and out of town. Place was clean and easy to use. Adequate household supplies. House rule book was a great source of information.
We loved our stay here, beds were comfortable, host was communicative and accommodating, and the location was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Needs some TLC
This is a second floor apartment with shared stairs to the third floor apartment. The young people above us were respectful but we definitely heard tramping up and down the stairs, music and voices. Living room very comfortable. The kitchen is better for reheating food rather than cooking. Some left over spices but no salt or pepper and random pots, etc. Only 5 forks and 3 wine glasses (1 was black- yuck). The mattresses are tired but the sheets clean. No towel bars in either bathroom. The bathroom between the front 2 bedrooms is a footed tub with a shower curtain. Shower in there at your own risk as any pressure on the shower curtain will bring it down. I did not receive any check in instructions from VRBO but the contact manager was quickly responsive to my request. Not the best place for us but it was clean and safe.
We had a great time at Nick's apartment, it is spaceous and tastefully furnished. We were able to feel right at home and used the kitchen every day, the dining room had space for all of us which made for some great holiday meals together. The location is nearly unbeatable with just two blocks to the promenade by the water and a short walk to downtown. Congress Street, which is 50 yards from the front door, has a really cool vibe with bars, cafes and restaurants. Yet, you are clearly nestled in a residential area. I feel that in this location you really get the best of Portland, no matter what time of the year.
The property was perfect for us: We could walk to restaurants, bars, and museums, and we enjoyed the neighborhood setting and how close we were to the water. We would love to stay there again.
Super location and close to some nice restaurants and shops. The whole stay was very easy and was perfect for our long weekend in Portland

Family Trip
Nick was helpful getting us into our place as we were a little confused on the directions. The apartment looked cleaner in pictures. It just needs a little TLC, aka touch-up the white paint. It reminded me of my college housing. Shower curtains need to be washed as well with mold growing at the bottom of them. Little hickup with parking as well. Don't park in the drive for even a short bit. Another family got mad at Nick for us parking there. I tried to make it right and paid for the parking. Nick wanted what the other family weren't going to pay, which was for two cars. I felt paying for two cars was a little extreme. Had we paid for the parking up front, he would have still lost the other family as the directions in the packet advise the parking is "first come first serve."
Great area, so close to so many things. Promenade just a few blocks away, nice for a morning or envening stroll. Lovely older 3 story home. We had a second floor apartment. Comfortable and very clean with 2 baths and a stackable washer/ dryer. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. A great stay!
Great space with updated furnishings and all the amenities that you need for a get away. Very quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the old port, beach and many breweries. It was just the right fit for our party of 7 and Nick was a great host. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!!
Great location! Can walk to so many places from this spot. The observatory, East Promenade beach and food trucks and Old Port are all in walking distance. We also didn’t have an issue finding parking either. The unit was perfect for our family of five. We’d stay here again the next time we’re in Portland!
Clean, just as pictured. Spacious enough for two couples and an adult. Nice walkable neighborhood, easy to walk downtown. Very responsive host. Highly recommend.
This space was comfortable, clean, and perfect for gathering with our family in Portland. We slept so well in the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed watching residents walk their dogs towards the nearby Eastern Promenade. Nick, the owner, was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We had everything we needed and would happily stay again. Thank you for your warm hospitality, Nick!
We had a great stay at this property. It was in a quiet residential area close enough to walk to downtown. Also very close to little markets and shops and easy access to 295. Everything was easy about check in and check out.
My feedback is that the place needs rugs in the bedrooms and living rooms and the main bathroom would benefit from an upgrade.
The owner, Nick, was pleasant and easy to communicate with.
Comfortable space in a great neighborhood with easy street parking. Short walk to downtown and water. Responsive owner who is eager to have guests’ needs met.

About the host
Hosted by Nicholas Richio
I am a reliable, responsive and caring Landlord of 15 units in 3 states. My wife and I have been operating short term rentals since 2015 and we always aim to provide a 5 star stay. It is important to us. I was born and raised in Portland. It is most important to me that I can be a part of peoples memories and provide them the same excitement that I have had my whole life being from Portland and the great state of Maine.
Why they chose this property
My parents are both Italian and there was a high concentration of Italians on Munjoy Hill when they were children in the 50's and 60s. It has so much history, all to become one of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in the state. We are one street away from the ocean and some of the most dramatic and gratifying views of Casco Bay.
What makes this property unique
We get wonderful natural sun light! We also have spacious floor plates that can accommodate larger groups and the two full bathrooms on the floors provide the flexibility that both small and large groups need.
