Lake Michigamme Cabin, Your Home Away from Home!

For the months of July and August, rentals will have a minimum night stay of 6 nights Check-in will be Sunday after 3pm EST and check-out will be Saturday 11am EST.

Question: Can I rent the cabin for only 3 nights?
Answer: Yes, but you will pay the 6 night rental fee.


Need to get away? Does the draw of a quiet getaway on waters edge call you? Or, are you looking for a place to stay for the opening of Walleye season? Our cozy Michigamme cabin is the place for you. With three bedrooms, a sofa bed, and an enclosed porch with additional sleeping for that someone looking for added adventure, all your favorite people can be comfortably under one roof. The cabin has private access to the lake and a dock for which you can tie your watercraft after a fun day on the lake. Or, if you wish, you need never leave land and read a book of your choice under the shade of one of the many trees on the property. This location is great for those wanting to use it a a base for hunting the vast areas around, as well, a charming place for friends and family to gather for much needed quality time.

The cabin was very cozy and super clean with everything we needed (including small bottles of shampoo and conditioner that came in handy the first night as I forgot mine!) We loved going down to the lake, especially watching the sunset and looking at the stars. It was the perfect home base for our daily adventures!

Our stay was wonderful! When we reached out to the host with a question before arrival he got back to us in a timely fashion. Love the character of this cabin! They’ve retained a lot of the original decor and charm. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals all week.

This was our second time staying here. Overall the rental met our needs. There were a couple of things that we communicated with Mark about and he was responsive. The cabin was clean and welcoming, the bed on the main level was the only one we used and it was comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities in the kitchen and having access to the washer and dryer. We'd definitely stay again if wanting to stay in the area.

Excellent place to stay for our fishing trip. Very roomy and comfortable. House was very clean and well supplied. Convenient location. Ample parking for two vehicles and 18 foot fishing boat. I would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at Mark’s cabin was everything that we were hoping it would be. Clean, very well stocked with everything needed for a long stay and convenient parking right up to the front porch entrance. The living room electric fire place was a nice and warm way to come home to after being outside on chilly days. The cabin has beautiful views of the lake and of all the pretty changing colors of the trees when traveling through all the woods coming and going down the long driveway. The online pictures of the cabin (inside and outside) are an exact description of how pretty the property actually is and we had such a great time staying there. It’s a beautiful, quiet and serene place to stay and well worth the money. We loved it there and would definitely stay there again. Mark was very nice and attentive whenever I messaged him. The only thing that I would change about the entire stay would be having either cable/satellite access to the tv. But, that is just a small adjustment compared to the beautiful views of the lake and a cozy/comfortable home away from home cabin to stay at. Thank you Mark for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin!

Cabin on Lake Michigamme

Cute cabin on Lake Michigamme. This was the perfect cabin to come back to after doing day adventures and visiting the different towns around in the area. The view from the cabin looking across the lake was great!

Beautiful location , scenery in the area was breathtaking. The location was perfect on the water. House accommodation was excellent for our family of 9 plenty of bedding, towels and any thing that was needed for a week away with the family .
