About this property

Charming Katama Home in Prime Edgartown Location!

Prime location: right on the Bike Path, 2 min walk to Katama General Store, .5 miles to Downtown Edgartown, 1.7 miles to Morning Glory Farm and 2.4 miles to South Beach. Originally Built in 1935, as the new owners, we have done some renovations, but we have kept the original character and old Vineyard charm.
First Floor of the Home is furnished with a fully equipped Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Queen Size Bedroom, a Full Bathroom and an added Bonus Full-Size Laundry/Pantry/Mudroom.
Second Floor has a Large Bunk Room with 4 Twin Beds and a lounge Area with Sofa, Chair & TV; a King Size Bedroom, One Additional Twin Size Bedroom and one newly remodeled full Bathroom with large walk-in, tiled shower.
Outside you will enjoy a relaxing Front Porch with Rocking & Adirondack Chairs, where you can relish in the summer activities and enjoy the well set back manicured front yard. Entertain in our New Screened Porch with additional dining & lounging areas. Our Home is equipped with a backyard grill, seating & a roomy outside shower. We have two driveway parking spots with plenty of off-street parking, but we encourage the use of island transportation.
We are honored to call Martha’s Vineyard our home and would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are here on a family vacation, a family reunion, a wedding, a girl’s getaway or a guy’s golf quest we believe your stay on the Vineyard will be a treasured memory for years to come and you will want to come back again and again!

Couldn’t ask for a better place!

Perfect location, on the bike path, steps away from Katama General store and walking distance to town. We loved the convenience of being able to take a short drive or bike ride to the beach or walk to get coffee or dinner- especially on a busy week like the 4th. While we were at the house, our favorite thing to do was play cards or people watch on the screened in porch. The house was clean and the owner was friendly and responsive. A 10 out of 10 and we can’t wait to go back!

A Place to Relax

Lori was a great host. Her house is beautiful and the location was perfect. So close to town and the beach. My favorite part of the house was sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch overlooking the green lush lawn and willow tree and then relaxing in the screened in porch with its comfy furniture and dining area.
