Great locatio

This is a great location in the heart of Ojochal. The property is very clean. Unfortunately, it suffers from some issues that the owner cannot solve - there are no electrical outlets in the very small bathrooms, hot water does not reach one of the bathrooms causing daily cold showers, and cellular service at this location is poor. Be sure to download the pdf directions, wifi password, etc. long before you reach the property because you won't have sufficient cellular service to do it when you reach the property. This forced us to bother the owner with text messages we sent in the dark in pouring rain to access the property. The owner was very gracious and responded immediately. The property is well appointed and maintained.

Hi Catherine. I’m sorry to see you weren’t satisfied with the house. To address the cold water, we quickly found out the hot water system had been hit by lightning and was fried. We immediately had an electrician replace the system in less than 24 hours of receiving your issue. A common occurrence in Costa Rica is not to have electrical outlets in the bathrooms, we have put up mirrors in all the bedrooms so you can use an electrical shaver or hair dryer (that is provided) in order to take care of any need for electrical in the bathroom. As for cellular service, you will also find in Costa Rica that it can be spotty hence why we have great wifi available to accommodate your needs. We do have some great features in the house as it’s newly renovated in the bathrooms, kitchen and pool which allows for some wonderful times to be enjoyed at the house. I hope you will return again to enjoy our wonderful place.
