We loved the fairly remote location of this villa (up on a cliff overlooking the ocean) and the convenient access to the local attractions. The property was perfect for our family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The landscaping was gorgeous. Oscar the concierge at Paradise Management was exceptional and made the trip seamless. Highly recommend this stay for a fun adventure.

Great Stay

The property was a great stay. the drive getting there was adventurous, but we did get used to it after a couple of times. Im sure the view would have been beautiful had the weather cooperated. If you looking to get away and feel relaxed this would be perfect.

Incredible property!! Very comfortable beds- I haven’t slept as well as I did at that house in years! Great A/C. The whole space is just perfection!! The kids loved the pool and the coatis roaming around in the morning. We were sad to leave and wish we stayed longer than 4 days. But make sure you rent a legit 4x4 with good tires. Check that the tires aren’t old. We did pop a tire because the 4x4 we rented had old tires and we didn’t think to check that. But there is a tire fix-it guy on the highway by the entrance to Costa Verde Estates! Oscar was super helpful and so nice! This is a gem. The food options near by were all great as well! Restaurante Scala On Escalante Rd was close and fantastic. We ate there twice. Fuego in Dominicalito was also awesome.

Great stay!!!

The property has a beautiful view of the ocean with seclusion from other properties. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay - getting massages at the villa was amazing. Plus we had a personal chef come to a villa to celebrate our anniversary which was phenomenal. Truly a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

Paradise

We just completed a week stay and throughly enjoyed it. We have stayed in several homes in the area , and there is not a better view than this house has. Normally we wouldn’t stay as far off the highway as this one is, but we enjoyed it so much we will be back.

Great location

We had an amazing time staying with you! Oscar, our concierge, was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we booked to the day we left, he was always available to meet our needs, arranging airport transportation, coordinating the delivery and pickup of our rental car at the house, and ensuring everything went smoothly. The property itself is in a fantastic, private location, and we loved seeing all kinds of wildlife roaming the grounds. We’ll definitely be returning for another stay!

What a magical trip! It was perfection for me and my family and exactly the vacation we needed! To say we fell in love with Costa Rica and the location we were at would be an understatement! The house was amazing my with all the views, animals we saw just from our windows, and all the conveniences of home. The service and concierge were exceptional during our stay if there were any issues. Oscar was extremely helpfully and checked in on us during our stay! We definitely will be planning another trip in the very near future.

Privacy in a beautiful location

Beautiful views, and privacy that you and your wife will love! Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the villa, very steep inclines on rock and dirt with some paved spots. But it is definitely worth it. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful with beautiful views

This property is nestled high up on a hill side. The pool was a really nice treat. We could’ve spent days by the pool reading books. Our kids spent hours in the pool. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy, the home was perfect for our family of 4.

Amazing views & so comfortable!

The extraordinary views and beautiful yard were unparalleled. The drive up was intense in places but totally worth it for the privacy and views. Oscar, the property manager, could not have been more gracious or helpful. He was so attentive and helped to arrange many details of our trip. Olas Azul made for a wonderful family vacation.

Gorgeous views and closeness to nature

The property is exactly as described, and our property manager Oscar was very responsive and wonderful. The only problem we had was the off-roading feeling we had reach time we got out to explore other places, roads to the property are bad. Rest the views, the property itself were worth it.

The house was nice enough, with a nice view and reasonably comfortable. We had a few problems though (one still unresolved two weeks later), so I have to recommend choosing a different house — definitely one managed by a different company. The first problem was mainly a costly annoyance. While there was a kitchen, and renters would likely stay several days and cook, there were no basic kitchen staples — no oil, salt, pepper, or seasonings of any kind. This forces renters to stock a kitchen from scratch with items they won’t be taking home. I’ve rented several houses in this area and never had one with such a bare kitchen. The bigger issue was no internet access. The listing advertised high speed wifi, a must-have for us since cell coverage is limited up on the hill. My son has a medical device that depends on regular internet access, so wifi mattered more to us than any other feature. When we arrived, the internet was out. I informed the “concierge,” and after having me reset all the equipment, he said he’d filed a report. Two days later, he told us the internet company couldn’t repair it until well after our stay ended. I should have filed a complaint with VRBO right away, but trusted the concierge would take care of it. We requested a partial refund, since we never would have booked this house otherwise. The house was spotless when we arrived, meaning someone had checked it beforehand — they definitely could and should have verified all advertised features were working.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the house, its views, and found it clean and comfortable, but we’re truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the kitchen, our vacation homes are intentionally stocked with cookware, dishes, and essential kitchen equipment, but we do not provide consumable items such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, or other seasonings. This is both for hygiene reasons and because many guests have dietary preferences or allergies. We understand that some travelers expect these items, and we appreciate your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the internet outage. Unfortunately, this was caused by a service interruption outside of our control that occurred shortly before your arrival. As soon as we were notified, we opened a service ticket with the internet provider and followed up repeatedly. Regrettably, the provider was unable to dispatch a technician until after your stay had ended. We completely understand how frustrating this was, especially given your family’s need for a reliable internet connection. Our team performs thorough inspections before every arrival, and the home was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your check-in. However, internet service can fail unexpectedly after an inspection has been completed, and unfortunately that was the case here. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving our service.

Paradise

The place was amazing! Isolated, private with a spectacular view. A little challenging at times on the road to the property, but well worth it. I would definitely recommend 4 x 4 with a good amount of power. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Was particularly nice to have a private place in the middle of Covid. We did lots of lounging by the pool, just the two of us. Heaven!!
