My husband and I visited the Utah parks and decided to stay at this house when we were at Bryce. The home was a perfect location and was so peaceful to return home to. The view was just stunning and we loved seeing the deer in the morning and at night. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was great to work with and very responsive. I would love to stay here again if we ever return to Bryce.

The house set up was great for our trip! We enjoyed the fact that it was on the river and felt kind of secluded. The house stayed plenty warm and the pellet fireplace was a nice touch.

Beautiful and Convenient Location

The house is located really conveniently for Bryce, Kanab, and Zion. It provides beautiful views of the surrounding canyons. The windows help provide a chance to relax and watch the mule deer or even the birds.

Hatch Ranch

We a great time staying at the hatch ranch. It had everything we needed, very relaxing watching all the deer in the morning. My husband enjoyed fishing from the river. It was close proximity to the local closer hikes of lossee canyon and red rock which we enjoyed! There is so much to see in this beautiful area we have to come back!

Perfect UT Getaway for Enjoying the Parks

This property was perfect for our family’s trip to visit Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. It was exactly as advertised…clean, updated, fully stocked, and very welcoming. The time the hosts spent preparing detailed information about the house and surrounding area made our stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful views!

The property is absolutely beautiful! The views are spectacular. The owner did an amazing job telling us everything we needed to know plus more. The decor was beautiful as well. Our only complaints were that the pillows were uncomfortable, the sinks also did not drain well.

Awesome piece of property. Great size house and was very clean and had plenty of items stuck in the house already. We loved talking the property and my husband and son tubed down the river a few times. The only thing I would say needs to be improved is the bedding and fans. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were pretty awful for all of us. We were able to deal with it after hiking all day and being exhausted. Although it cools down at night, you definitely need a ceiling fan too move the air aroundand there is none in any of the rooms. We did find a small table top fan we were able to use but still needed a little more airflow. We cracked the windows which helped it cool but still not much airflow. Other than that the place was fantastic.

Wonderful stay!

Hatch is a new favorite place and the Sevier river retreat is as well. One of the best stays we have ever had. Watching the sun rise on the porch alone was with the stay. So many things to do! I especially recommend Willis Creek slot canyon for first timers. The book of suggestions was well thought out and full of great ideas.

Excellent location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect between Zion and Bryce Canyon parks. We were also not too far from Grand Staircase Escalante which made for another fun day of exploring. The view outside the living room window was so peaceful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we were close by the attractions that we wanted. Would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful stay

When we arrived at the house it was night time so we didn’t know exactly what to expect for the outside views but that next morning the views of the red rocks with the river was just beautiful. when we got in the house it was beautiful! A lot of room, very clean. Everything about the house was beautiful and was furnished with about everything you need. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back here.

Decompression

Wow! This property is an absolute gem. The vastness of the 360-degree horizon with beautiful vista views was food for the soul. The little river bend was just steps outside the door and was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The house had everything we needed and we were provided with a comprehensive guide before arrival. Easy access to Bryce Canyon, Zion, and countless other natural wonders a 20-60 minute drive away, and a very cute coffee shop within walking distance. I know I will be back.

Convenient to parks but beautifully secluded

This is a great spot for relaxing and getting away from it all while still being very convenient to Escalante, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Dixie National Forest. The scenery from the porch is stunning. We sat out there most evenings and enjoyed the view and the wildlife. Deer, bald eagles, horses nearby. We did shop for food early in the week as there isn't much locally but that worked out well. There is a binder with lots of useful information which was much appreciated. We were sorry we hadn't booked for two weeks!

An amazing place in a superb location !

We (mother and father two teenage girls 2 in-laws) had such a blast in this wonderful place. The location (between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks) could not be any better at all, and the surroundings are just perfect (the photos online really do show how secluded yet easily reachable that marvellous spot indeed is).Communication with the owners was really excellent -- they did provide us with such a wealth of information that we almost felt like having lived there for several years ourselves. The "ranch" is kept up impeccably with all the promised amenities (given that the temperature went WAY below freezing during our mid-March stay, we LOVED the pellet oven that is so easy and fun to operate ). Basically, all eventualities were detailed in the very nicely written "summary" book that was sent to us BEFORE we arrived (and is physically present in written form at the location). We can very HIGHLY recommend this gem ! All around an amazing experience.

If you want to stay at a place that is beautiful, comforting and makes you feel special, stay here!

We stayed for the weekend at Sevier River Resort and enjoyed it immensely. The pellet stove was toasty, the beds super comfy, the view serene and peaceful and a well-stocked kitchen filled with all the touches you love when you are away from home. We all wished that we were staying longer than the weekend. It was a 25 minute drive to Bryce and a 15 minute drive to get groceries but you are literally out in the middle of nowhere (which we loved!). We enjoyed coming back after a day of hiking and relaxing on the chairs outside. We also enjoyed a nice campfire. Only suggestions would be some sheets for the beds as the beautiful comforters were warm for some. I just unzipped the duvet cover and used that. A bar to hold onto getting out of the shower upstairs would also be helpful (loved the shower:)). Would recommend to all for a beautiful place to vacation.

Hello, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us and with future guests! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and found beauty in the landscape and comfort in the home! Thank you also for your suggestion regarding a lighter sheet for the beds; we do have thin wool blankets in the bedroom cupboards should the duvet be too warm. However, this is not mentioned in our manual, so I will go ahead and add a section explaining where the thinner blankets are located. Our apologies for the inconvenience of having to remove the duvet cover; we can imagine that may have been more work than one hopes for on vacation! Thank you also for your recommendation of a shower bar upstairs; that is a fabulous idea! It's wonderful to know that the beds, pellet stove, and kitchen brought feelings of coziness and that the porch offered a serene respite after a busy day of adventures! We hope you have a lovely fall season at home and would be honored to host you again someday. Warmest wishes, Trynn Assistant to Jean

A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Would you enjoy nature at you front door? Then you will love this home. Deer come through feeding on the grass and drinking from the river. Rabbits are out early in the morning. Mountain blue birds feed off insects all day long. Hawks will fly several feet in the air over the property looking for their next meal. From the front porch you and can sit and enjoy the view of the orange cliffs several miles away. The home is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stock with flat ware, plates, and glasses. Plenty of spices and herbs allow you to create a meal. The master bed upstairs is soft and comfortable with ample pillows. The bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. This home can serve as a perfect base camp for visiting the National parks near by. All my questions were answered promptly by the owners through email. I would not hesitate to come back.

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for your great review. Just a small clarification for others reading the review: the master bedroom is downstairs and has a split king bed (2 XL twins side by side). This guest is referring to a Cal King bedroom upstairs as master bedroom.
