Great stay! The road is interesting to get there but worth it. Just needs a blower dryer for the ladies.

Location was close to Bryce Canyon and we liked the rural area for bird watching and gazing at the night sky. I have never seen so many stars! The house was very spacious and clean.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. It’s a ways out on a gravel road, but our host, Bill sent a detailed video so we easily found our way. I took one star off as some people may not like the drive. We actually liked the solitude of the area and enjoyed sitting out on the back porch. We enjoyed the proximity to both Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks.

Loved the location and privacy and Apple Maps takes you right to the house along with a video the owner provides you to help with the turns! There was a slight oops when checking in and Bill was on top of it immediately and didn't impact our stay at all. We stayed two nights for our visit to Bryce! The house is clean and has all of the basics you need for your stay and we loved that it had a gas grill as well!

Nice house and location

The house was immaculate. We enjoyed exploring around the house on the numerous roads nearby. Good location midway between Zion and Bryce National Parks. Also great day trip to North Rim Grand Canyon.

Bryce-Zion Vacation

Our group enjoyed change of big city life to small town and this location. First night was challenging as we drove at night time to locate property. Once settled into we had had great time and enjoyed ranch like environment.

Fantastic Bryce Getaway!

Thanks to the Riggs Family for having us stay in your home. We really enjoyed our stay. We got there at midnight, a bit hard to find the place with the GPS, but you had a great directions and easy to follow. The house was very well managed and very, very clean. It was a perfect place for our vacation, great place for the kids to run around. If we ever come to Bryce Canyon again, we will definitely stay in your home and we will definitely refer our friends/relatives about your home:-)

Secluded

The property is a little tricky to find in the dark but we made it with no issues. We loved the seclusion of on property. There isn't anywhere to get groceries so bring your own food. The house was clean and comfortable.

Fantastic!

This turned out perfect for us. Within five minutes of showing up and walking out into the backyard, I saw mule deer coming out to feed around the pond. I several does, younger bucks, and two mature bucks. Of course we saw the rabbits who must hang out in the backyard too. The house is very spacious, and the bed in the master BR is a master piece of old pine- a very special piece. The house is well stocked with everything you need. We loved the solitude. Awesome stay! Would love to come back and stay longer next time!

Wonderful stay

Four of us adults stayed a week in this clean home in an isolated setting. Very quiet. Nice deck that looked out at red cliffs in the distance. Very spacious home which allowed everyon enough space. Only issues were the beds which were way too soft and elevated. Understand people have different tastes in bed firmness but these were not very comfortable and their height made it difficult to sit on side of bed. Also showers had very low water pressure. BEWARE-King size bed is not in master bedroom with en suite bath. This was not indicated on website. All in all however, we had an enjoyable stay.

Expected more for the price

Road was 1.9miles from main road & the road on the property very rough & our car was dragging on the rocks in the center. Didn't look at the video the owner sent before we went - if I had would have looked for another place. Amenities as described. There was a coffee maker but only 4 cups. TV as stated but no cable or WiFi. The beds in the Master & 4th bedroom the best. No ice maker but owner did have bags of ice. Some utensils still greasy. This was a family vacation of older adults & we didn't have an off-road vehicle. Given the difficult access and amenities not worth the price for us. Owner very responsive and gave us directions to the home. And when I called later when electricity was out - only out for a short time & his uncle came over to check on us. We visited Zion, Bryce Cannon, Cedar Breaks, Grand Excalante, Red Canyon from this location. Only services in town were a couple eating places. Gas, grocery, drug store, liquor, etc. in Panguitch 14 miles away.

The home is about a 6-7 minute drive from Hatch which is mostly dirt road. The owner sent us an excellent video showing the drive from Hatch, helping us to easily find the place. The home is private, with only one home nearby. We enjoyed the solitude. It was a great place to walk our dog with many roads which I’m assuming were for ATVs. The kitchen was adequately supplied with dishes and cookware. We were there for 4 nights and cooked in for most meals. The place was clean, comfortable and accommodating for a dog and a very mobile 11- month child plus 5 adults. It was an easy 35 minute drive to Bryce Canyon Park.

My wife and I and five girls really have enjoyed this home as it was a place that I grew up on and our girls have had the same opportunity to do so as well. They are outdoor enthusiasts and love spending time there. We currently live in Lindon Utah and try to get down to there as often as occasion will permit. We decided that since we can't be down there more often that we would open this home for others to enjoy and hope that your experience is one that you will never forget.

Why they chose this property

This is a family home that my father built but unfortunately lost his battle to cancer before he was able to really enjoy it. Our family grew up on the land that this home sits on where formally there was an old deer hunters cabin that we built once stood. There have been many fond memories growing up here and we really enjoy how relaxing it is to come and stay and at the same time there are plenty of things to do. There is Hunting, fishing, ATV riding, hiking and seeing the sights such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.

What makes this property unique

There is the national parks to visit, ATV & UTV trails to ride right from the home. There are unlimited trails on and off the property to see. Get a part of Bryce but not in the park. Fishing in our local ponds and at the river. All kinds of wildlife to enjoy such as deer, elk and turkeys. It is away from the hustle and very peaceful and relaxing. The views are amazing including the pink cliffs to the east.
