Outstanding stay!

Beautiful, spacious home; very close to downtown Nantucket. Owners were exceptionally gracious and welcoming. Terrific stay! Would recommend 20 Lily unequivocally.

We had the most wonderful trip. Mary Ann couldn’t have been a more welcoming host. She went the extra mile to make our stay great and we loved every minute. The house is wonderful and such a great location. Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect in town home

We had 7 adults and 2 infants on our trip and there was PLENTY of space. Multiple living spaces and a big open kitchen allowed for lots of room to play, eat, and hang out. The home is perfectly Nantucket with the cutest design and décor. We walked into town for all our shopping and eating needs. We did rent a car for golf, groceries, and driving to further away beaches.

20 Lily is a special place!

Right from the start, owners Mary Ann and Jack were so helpful and hospitable! They were so helpful with suggestions of things to do on the island. When we arrived, we were so pleased with the house and it’s location! Being right in town, we could walk everywhere. The house itself was so clean and well appointed. We wanted for nothing. We enjoyed an evening glass of wine watching the views/sunsets from the back decks. It was such a peaceful place. Thanks to Mary Ann and Jack for helping to make our trip to Nantucket so special!

Wonderful Owner

Of all the vacation homes I have rented over the years, this homeowner stands out as the most welcoming and easy to work with. 1) She was quick to respond to messages and inquiries. 2) She left snacks and treats for us. 3) She made the check-in and check-out process very, very simple! I have rented many other vacation homes and most have a list of tasks you are asked to do upon departure (such as starting the dishwasher, gathering up all the towels, taking out the garbage and recycling, and occasionally being asked to strip the beds and put the bedding in the laundry room - even though you are paying a hefty cleaning fee.) There were no such requests at this property, which made our early morning departure easier and less stressful. Thank you, Mary Ann!

A Special Place on Lily Pond!

We loved our stay at this home. It was a wonderful experience from start to end, and the enjoyment began even before we arrived on the island. Communication with the owners was a joy. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed both before we arrived and throughout our stay. The home is cheerful, charming, and cozy. The warmth and friendliness of the owners can be seen throughout. It is a special place that is obviously well loved. The home was immaculate when we arrived and equipped with everything we could have needed. It is spacious, well organized, and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It overlooks Lily Pond, which is one of our favorite areas. While the home is perfectly situated to enjoy the natural beauty of Nantucket, it is also conveniently located within town, providing a short walk to everything we wanted to do and see. Our favorite moments included sitting on the screened porch in the mornings. We also loved having dinner on the side porch that overlooks Lily Pond and gathering in the sitting room adjacent to the kitchen. This home provided many opportunities for wonderful memories. We are extremely grateful to Mary Ann and Jack for sharing their treasured home with us. Their gracious hospitality made us feel like special guests, and for that we are very, very thankful.

We loved everything about our stay! 20 Lily will not disappoint

While the photos of 20 Lily are great, they just don't do justice to this amazing property. It has such curb appeal and there is SO MUCH SPACE. We had eight adults and a baby and there was plenty of room for us to all spend time together - and quiet corners of the house for us to each do our own things. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need - including nautical themed cups and serving trays - and the furniture couldn't have been more comfortable to curl up on and watch a movie or enjoy a cup of coffee. The backyard is huge and provided us a great place for afternoon lawn games. The location of the house was just a short walk to almost everything that we wanted to visit - Town, Steps Beach, Jetties Beach - and the parking spaces right out front made it easy for us to drive to the places that we couldn't - Cisco Brewers, Bartlett's Farm. (We did have a car, but took Uber a couple of times and it was only a $15 ride.) It's evident that Mary Ann and John have put a lot of energy into sharing the authentic Nantucket experience with their guests and that they see this as much more than just a 'rental property'. With the Nantucket artwork on the walls, lightship basket decor and American flags around every turn, you couldn't find a place more genuine. As great as the house is, the owners added that much more to our experience. Mary Ann was so friendly from the very beginning and was available to us before and during our trip. While we didn't get a chance to meet, I feel like I have a new friend on island. Nantucket is my happiest place on earth and I couldn't have imagined a better house in which to enjoy it. I hope that we have the opportunity to go back very soon!!

Great family vacation

We had a fantastic week at 20 Lily. Mary Ann was super responsive and had great recommendations for us. Location could not be better and house was very well equipped (even enough toys that kept my 3 year-old occupied). There were also beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to enjoy the beaches. The house itself had a great layout - open main floor to gather together but also separate indoor/outdoor areas to enjoy in a smaller group. We would definitely come back!

Idyllic house. Immaculate, gracious and spacious, superb location,well-equipped,attentive owners.

House has everything to make your stay memorable. The decks have beautiful views of ponds for morning bird sightings and sounds to gorgeous sunsets. Minutes from town. The home is super equipped and offers numerous sitting and dining areas. I would give 20 Lily Street 10 stars if possible. August 2020

20 Lily warmed our hearts!

20 Lily is not only a lovely Nantucket home; it has the most thoughtful and caring owners. Their warmth and love of it is felt throughout. We came to Nantucket for the marriage of my daughter. 20 Lily charmed not only us but also all of our friends and family who stopped to visit. It has easy access to all points of town that was perfect for walking and exploring from. The owners are incredibly kind and provided for all of our needs; even to the wedding touches which added to our celebration! I am so grateful we found 20 Lily and Mary Ann and John.

Lovely Home, Great Location. Best.Time.Ever.

Where to begin? From the first communication with property owners MaryAnne and John , to the last....and everything in between.... our visit could not have been better. Six 60 young-at-heart friends since grade school women, decided to have their next girls get away in Nantucket, and we were lucky enough to find and rent this home. The home is clean and cozy and has everything one needs to do anything one wants! Upon arrival there was a welcome card, beverages and Sweet Inspirations (Local)candy. 5 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for us. The home has several places to enjoy each other's company.... the room off the kitchen, the living and dining space and the 3 lovely outdoor spaces. We used it all. We cooked in one evening and found everything we needed to pull together a delicious meal. The location is perfect and we walked in town every day with no problems. We took a van tour of parts of the island and visited the the Sankaty Lighthouse. And.We.Shopped. We ate lunch at some of the many restaurants in town. After much rain prior to our arrival, we enjoyed perfect weather the entire time we were there. We walked to the beach and watched the sunset. Maryanne and John have equipped their home with all the necessities and then some. It was our pleasure to stay in this home and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thanks Maryanne and John! :)

Wonderful place to stay close to town!

The house is clean and decorated beautifully. The view from the decks is so pretty and tranquil. Everything we needed was there. We didn't want to leave. Mary Ann and Jack are very nice and the transaction was smooth

Amazing house for families

We stayed at 20 Lily in August 2015, and we can't say enough good things about this house. It was perfect for our large family (8 adults, two toddlers and one infant)-- perfect layout such that we didn't have to be in each other's hair thanks to multiple sitting rooms, three floors of bedrooms and several decks. The house was so well kept-- we couldn't possibly have needed anything else in the kitchen; there were tons of towels, nice linens, beach supplies, etc. Mary Ann was a pleasure to work with-- very responsive over email, phone, etc. She even left us cupcakes and a set dining room to greet us! The house is extremely well located-- convenient to the ferries, downtown, Children's Beach (where we went every day), restaurants. We took cabs to other parts of Nantucket and rented bikes. It was perfect. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Nantucket rental

This house is perfect! This is not a rental house this is a home. It is near everything and at the same time peaceful and quiet. Can't say enough nice things about this place.
