Ideally situated, this home is just a short walk from downtown Nantucket, Jetties Beach, and the iconic Brant Point Lighthouse, giving you easy access to the best of the island.

Home Layout:

First Floor: Features four spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and a cozy alcove to comfortably sit and read or watch TV. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed with beautiful sunlight and bathroom. Two additional bedrooms each have two twin beds and their own full bathrooms. You'll also find a covered, furnished front porch and a private outdoor shower.

Second Floor: The open-concept living and dining areas are bathed in natural light, with large windows providing ideal views and ambiance for gatherings. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining areas and one of two living spaces. There’s ample seating with two couches, three comfortable chairs, a dining table, and a game nook. A convenient half bath is located just off the kitchen.

Wonderful experience!

This home allowed our family to walk to town or to beaches from its great location. The owner and caretaker were immediately responsive to any questions we had, and the layout invited many family game nights as well as quiet reading nooks. I highly recommend this home!

Great house and location!

We loved our stay on the island! The house had everything we needed and the open concept set up was perfect for our family vacation. We did not bring a car, but there were lots of bike rental shops nearby and it's a very walk to beaches and downtown. Steve was responsive and a great host; he even notified us the morning we arrived that we were able to check-in early :)

Great House, Great Location!

This house was perfect for our Nantucket Stroll Weekend 2019. The location is a very short walk to downtown. The owner was very accessible and very pleasant. We would certainly rent this home again.

Apres Ski was great for my extended family vacation. Plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Perfect backyard for kids to run around and easy access to the beach and town. Well stocked house and Steve was very communicative and friendly.

Fantastic!

My son was getting married the weekend we rented the house near Brant Point. Where do I begin to express appreciation for our overall experience having this beautiful home available to us. Steven thank you so much for sharing your incredible home. The upside down layout really a treat. To walk up the stairs in the morning and have the sun shining in, birds singing from the top of the trees that were at eye level was such a delight. The location alone was perfect for all our wedding events. We walked to Brant Point Lighthouse every morning and then into town for coffee. I could go on and on about the loveliness of this home and all that it provided our family of eight that stayed there. I will end this review by saying this home is THE home to rent to capture the beauty of Nantucket.

Perfect!

Apres Ski could not have been a better place for our family to stay for a combo Christmas stroll and my husband’s birthday celebration weekend. The house set up is perfect with 4 ensuite bedrooms downstairs and a large open floor plan with a very well appointed kitchen upstairs. The proximity to town was key to our stay as we were coming and going to town all day at different times and no car was needed, we could walk everywhere we needed to go. I highly recommend Apres Ski!

Perfect vacation home

This home is spectacular! Beautiful place to stay and an excellent location. As advertised, the house was well furnished and really was perfect for a larger group. Our second stay in 2013!

We stayed at this home in May with 4 couples and then just stayed in August with my parents and our four children (15, 12, 10, 2). We loved the space and location. It is spectacular. Everyone had their own space and the living area allowed us to spend time as a family while spreading out. We loved the 8 person dining room table. We walked to the beach, town, movies, museum, ice cream. The house is stunning and well maintained. Thank you again!

Excellent Stay!

This is the 9th year we have rented one of the home owners two house for the Wine Festival. I believe our 5 stay in this house and love it! The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. The open floor plan on the top level allows everyone space but to be involved in the activity. There is an abundance of seating with two gathering spaces and two dining tables. The 4 en suite bedrooms are separated by hallways allowing for privacy. The location is unbeatable - walk to town in minutes, great restaurants, beaches, shopping. No car needed. We and our guests had an amazing time which was also largely do to the homeowners! They are great to work with and to share their beautiful home. We will be back next year! Thank you.

We grew up in White Plains, New York and Toledo, Ohio respectively but we have lived in the mountains of Colorado and Utah since the 70's. We always searched for the perfect ocean getaway and we found it on Nantucket, Brant Point in particular.

Both of our sons are skiers and surfers so our family has the best of both worlds here in Utah and Nantucket. I taught them to ski and they taught me to surf. We also love to fish, ride bikes, and paddle board and do our best to take advantage of every inch of Nantucket island.

Why they chose this property

Our first vacation on Nantucket was in 1984 when our sons were just 1 and 4. Until we purchased our first home on Nantucket in 1996 we rented different homes from nearly one end of the island to the other. But we always gravitated back to Brant Point. You just cannot find a better location for a vacation on Nantucket for the convenience of being able to walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and the ferry, not to mention the 'Juice Bar' for that homemade ice cream. When we sold that first home we owned on the island in 2005 we bought our new home just 5 houses down the street. We just could not bring ourselves to leave the island or Brant Point.

What makes this property unique

Location, location location. This is what makes our home truly unique. There really isn't a better location for a Nantucket island vacation. It's close to downtown, close to Jetties beach yet it still feels quiet and quaint. We also love the layout of the upside down home, especially the large social space on the 2nd level. It brings our family together when everyone wants to be social and allows everyone to have their privacy on the first level.
