Excellent location, we had very good experience. Host was good at communicating and let us drop off our bags earlier so we could explore and make the most of our day in St. John’s. Place was very clean. Small repairs need to be done, but it’s an old home in a lovely location! Highly recommend.

not as expected

This home is in an amazing location, which was my reason for picking it. I have stayed at 4 other homes in the Battery over the years, and having grown up in the city, I am very familiar with it. This is an older home with expected quirks. My main issue was the second bedroom. It poorly appointed with just a bed, small broken desk and a rather worn lamp. There was no chest of drawers, mirror etc, to make it a functional bedroom. The living room and main bedroom were very well decorated and quite lovely. I also found the manager was not easily accessible. Luckily there were no issues that required immediate attention.
