Summary: This rustic studio- 'the annex'- is steps to restaurants, nightlife, public transport, the beach, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the retreat-like feel, the light, the comfy bed, and the neighborhood.
The Space: This cozy space has a lovely view of water from sleeping/living area and shared access to patio table and chairs in courtyard and near beach.
Guest Access: Private Boca Ciega Bay beach onsite shared with two other units on property. There is a 'guest-maintained' medium-sized, portable charcoal grill near beach available for use, as well as a table, 4 plastic chairs and 3 plastic Adirondack style chairs there.
The Neighborhood: Gulfport is amazing - many great restaurants, Art Walks with vendors and live music in the evening each First Friday and Third Saturday, and Fresh Market on Tuesdays during the day.
10-12 minutes from St. Pete Beach or the now chic downtown St. Petersburg. 25 minutes from Tampa International airport.
Getting Around: Everything is walking distance - Gulfport Trolley will take you around the town on certain occasions if you wish and connect to main bus system.
Other Things to Note: Parking can get a little tight - we ask you to park in front yard, parallel to street, leaving enough space for another vehicle next to yours. One BR in back space has driveway spot.
Interaction with Guests: We and our team members are occasionally on the property for maintenance, and are available should you need something.

Great location. A good place to stay however it is rustic, with not much light. I believe that is in the description. So if you’re not ok w rustic it won’t be for you.Otherwise it is very lovely w a very peaceful area to sit at the end of the yard which meets the bay. With everything less than a block away is a real plus. .
We loved our stay. Been coming to Gulfport for a couple years. This is our favorite rental yet. Good price, spacious unit. Loved the water access. We'll be back!

Place was very run down. Bad smell, I'm assuming from the hurricanes. Most of the town is also shut down from the hurricanes. Pictures are much better than the actual unit. Host was VERY nice, though.

I stay in many places and this was without a doubt the worst one I’ve been too. It smelled so musty and mildewed. I took a shower at my friends home because the tub just didn’t look inviting at all and the towels were awful, I felt them and they were not soft or nice so didn’t even use or unroll them. The outlets were all wonky and the bathroom light was hard to turn on. The TV had 3 remotes but no instructions, once I figured it out it just kept freezing and buffering, so I just gave up. There were dogs on the property that were loud and obnoxious. I tried to get in my car and they were off leash and jumped on me. I could hear a woman who sounded like she was right behind a door in the kitchen that apparently lead to another unit. The walkway was treacherous, it buckled and the concrete was uneven. Very dangerous. It looks like they did the bare minimum to create a cute space but it really missed the mark. Just the smell alone was enough to make me leave early. On a better note the water view from the backyard was amazing.
